We were going there to do the investigation with Truth in Evidence Haunted Tours anyway, so we decided to try the food out.... We're glad we did. The hostess Savannah, & our server Katie were great. Very helpful, polite, & attentive. My wife got theChicken Taco-Dillas, & I got the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Both of our dishes were delicious, & the prices were good. It is on the main street, across from the river. So it's in a good location, but the noise from the traffic is loud. The only... option for flights is if you try them all, which is 10 beer tasters for $20. I knew I wasn't going to drink 4 of them, but Iwanted to try the others. The food was good and priced fair. I sat on the outside patio, but they have a big indoor seatingsection as well. They have separate male/female bathrooms and have a drag brunch on Sunday. Read more
Heard good things about Moon River so the five of us plus two dogs stopped in for dinner. We chose the outdoor seating as that... area is pet friendly. We ordered drinks from our server Diamond and were promptly served. Ordered Wing's and peal your ownshrimp. Shrimp was plentiful at $20 and a 5 ? however the small amount of wings for $12 left a lot to be desired so 3 ?. Mac andcheese bowl with chicken $12 was also a bit of a let down so another 3 ?. Bill had the Bratwurst with peppers and fries $10.Brat was over cooked as were the meager amount of peppers so again 3 ?. I had the Grouper with Rice and Broccoli $20 which waslarge and very good 5 ?. Another guest had the Caprese Sandwich at best a 4 ?. Shrimp and Grits were also good and at $20 a bitpricey but good. We also tried the 10 beer sampler $18 and as with any sampler you have some winners and some losers your calland hard to give a rating. Parking is always a challenge on Bay Street but were lucky and able to find metered handicap parking.Will we return? In all likelihood yes but will order some different items. $16 for a flight of ten very good beers, great deal especially in this area. A bit noisy and crowded inside, great outdoor area... but rainy (not their fault it's rainy season). Pleasant and attentive wait staff. Nice experience. Read more
Didn't have food, but I've heard the burger is great. Of course this brewery caters to their beer clients, but the full bar is... great. Side note: their ice water is some of the best I've had in Savannah if you are like me and need water with everything.Feels fun, not haunted, but it was lively (though not packed) when I was present and I was only out front. I think the hauntsare further in if that's your thing. Read more
The drink was pretty refreshing on a hot day. Loved that I could take my dog and they catered to her with a fresh bowl of water.... Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Our chicken sandwiches lacked flavor and the tender juiciness we prefer. Read more
Beers were alright. Yoga Pants cask was served a bit warm and very under carbonated. The loaded tots were extremely over cooked... to the point that they were basically hallow inside. We added brisket to them and it was essentially thick cut roast beef andwas cold. I would go back to try other beers but would never order food again. Read more
We stopped in after a long day of walking and was treated by several people. We sat at the bar and got 2 beers and wings. The... moon house sauce for the wings was amazing. I got the porter beer and my husband had an ipa. Definitely recommend Read more
