My Mother-in-Love and I popped in for a quick lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambience is so warm and welcoming and... the staff are breaths of fresh air. The food was “good” had a burger(a signature one) it was huge and very filling. Not a fan of smash-burgers - that just means... thin patties and cooked to no color. No skill involved. So burger was not juicy ir tasty but everything else on it was tasty andgood. The bartender means well but tries too hard and is irritating and fake. Read more
My partner and I made dinner reservations at Oak 36 Bar and Kitchen for our four years together and we had such an awesome... experience. Our waitress, Destiny knew the menu front to back and recommended all the right things. The food was cooked toperfection and so delicious! The overall environment was comfortable and enjoyable. As we left, the hostess, Madison was verykind. We will definitely be going back again soon and recommending Oak 36 Bar & Kitchen to all friends and family! Read more
We stopped in at 645 at night and were surprised that we didn't have to wait and were seated right away. This was our first time... here but or son and his wife recommended it and after reading the reviews and especially about Austen... we were lucky enough tohave him as our server. Austen is a very friendly, helpful and humble young man. Austen gave us honest opinions about certaindishes which made it very easy (for me in particular)on what to choose. We started with the mac n cheese bites, the bites werevery tasty but that sauce was on another level. The sauce was so good we saved what was leftover for our fries. My wife pickedthe chicken fried chicken which she absolutely loved. She said that the veggies were incredible and there were such bigportions that she had plenty for lunch the next day. My D.I.L got the wings with the house hot sauce and she was a littledisappointed saying it just wasn't a great sauce. She did say however that the wings were cooked perfectly and they were apretty good size as well. My son got the steak and arugula flatbread that he could not stop saying how good it was. Finally Ichose the spicy chicken hoagie, the sauce was tangy/tasty and the fries were delicious. We were all very happy with our mealsand nobody had enough room for dessert. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating, the atmosphere is cozy and welldecorated. Oak 36 is in a strip mall area so there is plenty of parking for anything that you could possibly be driving, all ofthe staff is super friendly and we all look forward to going back. The Chicken & Biscuits with side of mashed potatoes and gravy & green beans was so delicious. Their Cucumber Spritzer very... refreshing as well. Very clean, excellent service and easy to park! Definitely adding to our date night restaurants but greatfor lunch too! Read more
We were seated immediately on a Sunday evening and were very impressed with our waiter, Austen. He read the specials, asked if... we wanted drinks from the bar, explained the appetizers, and was just over all very attentive. He would ask us to repeatsomething if he didn’t understand our request. We had the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and it was the best I’ve had ofits kind. I had The catch which was grouper. It was seared perfectly and their hand cut fries were delicious. My husband had thespicy chicken hogie and it was huge. The only thing I can say maybe on the downside is that the menu listed in the photos (listed by customers so not the restaurant’s fault) was that sooo many items where missing from the menu that have beenremoved. We were actually looking forward to ordering the bourbon steak and waffle fries but those among other things were nolonger available. So, if your going by the menu listed in the review pics, I would advise you to go to the website and check themenu there. Read more
