Overall disappointing experience… the food looked good but was lackluster. The service was subpar, we had to ask for a steak... knife, and had to ask two people other than our server to order additional drinks. The appetizer we ordered never came and itwas never acknowledged. I asked the food runner for ranch and he when he returned he said he was sorry he forgot, then neverreturned. Once the hostess was able to get us another drink from the bar, we asked her for ranch and she let us know they didnot have ranch (great but shouldn’t the food runner know that?). The table next to us put their used plates in the chair nextto them because they couldn’t get anyones attention to come clear the table. Other than the female hostess being friendly theentire experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend trying this place, quite surprised they have such a high ratingbut I won’t be surprised when it closes. Read more

We had an exceptional waitress that provided really amazing service. The restaurant was beautiful, the steak frites portion was... cooked perfectly and huge, and the cocktails were creative and delicious. My wife and I had a great time and would definitely goback on our next visit to Savannah. Read more
Had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at the Fitzroy. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks (I had the Popa... Double - I don't drink very often, but it was tasty with it's rum, luxardo, lime and grapefruit ) We ordered the crispy brusselsprouts as an appetizer along with the grilled bread. The brussel sprouts had an anchovie dressing, which I really didn't taste,but had a nice combo of flavors and textures. We ordered Salmon as the main dish With ancient grains, butternut squash,mushrooms, baby kale and a fig vinaigrette. Loved the combination. The salmon was moist and flavorful and made for a great maincourse. We also had the spiced chocolate churros for dessert with a blood orange dipping sauce which balanced the sweetness ofthe churros perfectly. All in all a great meal and warm, inviting ambience. The owners claim this spot is styled after pubs in Australia, and having just returned from OZ, I'll be brutally honest; The... Fitzroy is way way better than anything down under. The food was terrific, we enjoyed salmon from the special menu as well astheir on menu preparation. The wedge salad with bacon jam is absolutely fantastic as was their scotch from the Islay region.The piece de resistance was the filet mignon, a melt in your mouth creation with the silkiest mashed potatoes and brocolini.
