The scene was definitely nice. Make reservations in advance until you want to wait over an hour. We only saw one pirate pass by-... they didn’t stop the entire time we were eating (about 2 hours) the menu looked very delicious but the flavor was all verybland. Nothing really was like WOW worth the $$ - the kids Alfredo was awful. I understand they are children and may not caremuch but YUCK! Read more

This location is a great landmark and good place to eat in Savannah. This establishment has a cool atmosphere and some neat fun... to it for you pirate enthusiasts. There was no wait to get in this place. The lighting was very dark, which made it very hardto read the menu. They also have a lunch time buffet. At first it wasn’t replenished well, so we chose to order from themenu. When we went back through, the Buffet looked well replenished and fresh. If I had seen the buffet the first time like Iseen it the second time, I would’ve ordered it instead. We ordered the Calamari for an appetizer. It was flash friedperfectly and had great texture, flavor and presentation. Unfortunately, being this close to the Atlantic Ocean I expectedbulkier calamari similar to what you would get at the San Francisco Pier in California. We both had the Ultimate Low-CountryBurger. It’s presentation was perfect and thick, just how one would want to see a burger. They were ordered medium, but cameout a little medium-well. The beef tasted very lean like a 93/7 blend. Unfortunately, this made the burger itself very dry andgritty. This alone was the game changer from a 5 star to a 4 star rating. A burger this beautiful needs to be cooked better. Irecommend to the ownership to use a 85/15 or 80/20 blend of beef instead of the current blend using. Or the Chef needs to workon the cook time a little more. I recommend giving this place a visit for lunch or dinner! Read more

We went here for dinner and had expected to wait a bit since we knew that reservations were preferred. When we walked over and... let the hostess know we would like a table for 2, she said that 2 tables in the bar had opened and we could have one of those. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. Our server was Zack and he was great. He shared his recommendations with us (FriedChicken or Salmon), which we would like to get if we go back. We decided to get the Shrimp Gumbo and Low Country Santa Fe Pasta. We also split a cup of she crab soup, which was good but not much different than Cream of Crab. All of our food came out quickand was delicious. There was a lot of shrimp in the gumbo and the flavors were excellent. I have enough for lunch the next day.My husband enjoyed the pasta, especially the alligator sausage. Definitely recommend if you are in Savannah Read more

Had a meal at the pirate's house restaurant. The wait staff was pleasant and polite. The interior was pretty dark and dated but... not a big annoyance. I got the fried shrimp. It was lightly battered and pretty good. My spouse got the calamari. It wascrunchy but there was oil in the bottom of the plate which made some of them soggy. Taste was good overall. I probably wouldn'tcome back. Read more

Checked it out based on other reviews. It did not disappoint. Definitely not the cheapest place to go but it is worth it. Had... the shrimp n grits and fried shrimp platter. Both were great. Drinks were good as well. Definitely a unique place to checkout! Read more

Cute tourist stop. A solid 3.5 room for improvement. Greeted by a pirate before being seated. Very neat interior decor of old,... rustic and comfortable. Our table was next to a window with a view of an old well that time has decorated nicely with nature. The waitress took our orders quickly food came out in a timely manner. What we didn’t appreciate our drinks not beingrefilled, my husband finished his beer at the start of the meal and I would have liked a water refill. We enjoyed the freebiscuits and cornbread with butter. Too many for two of us. Maybe bring out less to minimize waste. Enjoyed the fried greentomatoes. Our first time trying and they were pleasant. We shared the crab melt sandwich. We felt it was lacking on flavor andfilling. At the end of the meal we didn’t like how the hostess stood there while we signed and filled out the tip portion. Good food and friendly service. Stopped in for lunch. Fried calamari was a good appetizer. Enjoyed the complimentary biscuits -... they were so good! The Ruben sandwich was tasty. The She crab soup was too rich and buttery. I liked the fried greentomatoes. Nice ambiance and good food. Read more

This was our first trip here and a great experience. Our group ordered corn fritters and blackened shrimp, fried green tomatoes,... shrimp gumbo, house salad and their famous honey pecan fried chicken and shared everything. Each item was fantastic includingthe corn muffins and biscuits with orange marmalade. Highly recommend this place. Great service and food! Read more
