I would like answers to how a restaurant that claims to be 24 hours was not open on Saturday night. Let me give a backstory: I... stay on the south side of Savannah, GA. After 3 PM, there are little to no dining options. Luckily, we have three Waffle Houselocations on that side of town. However, I went to three separate locations and all three were not open to the public or takingorders. Not only were the doors locked at the first location on Abercorn/Eisenhower; but the employees were also in therestaurant (3 employees in total). Three other customers were outside as well, tapping on the glass asking for the clarity I wasseeking. They simply ignored us. I pushed along and traveled to the next location, which is the restaurant onAbercorn/Television Circle. I was happy to see the doors were open. However, when I entered I was informed that at 3:30 AM theywere no longer taking orders until 'the next shift comes in at 7 AM. Again, it was a staff of 4 employees. Disheartened that Imay never find anything to eat, I turned my the final option: the Georgetown location. When I arrived, I walked into an EMPTYrestaurant with 2 employees and was TURNED away yet again. At this point, not only is this simply a waste of money for thecompany as your employees are being paid to do nothing, but it is also a disgrace to the name and legacy of the company. This isnot the first time this has happened. It happens so frequently that I refer to these locations as the 'unreliable' ones. Togloat that you are 'America's Favorite Restaurant', is completely absurd when your employees do not adhere to that specificcustomer service expectation. I hope to see a change in the future as I do enjoy the atmosphere and convenience. Read more
Best waffle house food. This was our second waffle house. The first one in Abercorn was across the street from the Chevy... dealership. Don't go there!!! This one was fabulous. The cook there? Hell yeah!! Great cook. Everything was perfect and thetaste? Hell yeah!! Totally recommend this location. One thing I didn't care for? Choice of music and it was too loud. Read more
This was my first experience with any of the iconic Waffle House restaurants. I am unsure if all are alike or if this is a... one-off, but the location was quite dirty and I had second thoughts about the group request to order food here. I relented andordered food and ate it. It was pretty good, the waffles were the best part. I don't care for all of their cheese being Americancheese so that's a big minus for me. I wish I had a better experience and might try another location if presented theopportunity based solely upon others' love for the chain. Read more

This young man was gracious enough to take our order despite the fact his coworkers bailed on him and hadn?t showed up to work... yet. He wasn?t even the routine cook, but he made our orders anyway all by himself. Way better than the one on Ogeechee Rd. Theyso sorry they got more staff working and yet they got folks standing in the doorway taking orders. I was so disgusted I leftthere to drive further out to the one one Abercorn. Read more
For me, a trip to Georgia is incomplete without visiting the Waffle House. Breakfast at this location proved to be the correct... choice, our server was great and took care of us very well, the food was tasty, and they even have sugar free syrup for theirnamesake staple. The southern hibachi powerhouse still serves hash browns scattered, smothered and covered like we all enjoy!Will definitely return here next time I'm in Savannah! Read more
Most of the time we deal with individuals that happen to work by themselves but for that employee should have some respect for... others when they arrive to place and order. The individual you see in this photo have a serious attitude problem ( not goinginto the details) but it was inappropriate. I've been to several restaurants where individuals work by themselves and still havea curiosity to respect their customers. Read more
Came in to eat an early dinner and the food was awesome! Kiki was doing it all - taking orders, making the food, cleaning, and... checking people out. She is amazing!! Food came out quick too. 10/10, would come back. Read more
