Great food and service. Hadn't been here in several years but it is one of the few places open on Monday so we gave it a go.... This time we were here on our anniversary for drinks and dinner. I wasn't very hungry (especially after eating my Bloody Marygarnishes) so I got the soup and salad bar. Greens were dark and fresh-no watery iceberg lettuce in sight. Pasta salads, potatosalad, pickled beets were all fresh and tasty. Italian wedding soup equally good and authentic. Spouse had the Cuban. It wasHUGE. He could only eat half. Server asked if he wanted a box but since we are tent camping he said no. Server offered to wrapin foil- good idea. We are looking forward to reheating it on the grill for lunch tomorrow. Half split between the two of uswill still be enough for lunch. We highly recommend the Hillside. Only downside is that while we arrived there relatively (about6), it got pretty noisy as the restaurant filled up. Read more

We were camping near by and had our dog with so we wanted to find a pet friendly place to eat out. Hillside Tavern was very... welcoming to our pup and everyone loved on him! The patio is pet friendly which is all we needed. The food was also great so itwas a win-win for all! Read more
