This gas station was a nightmare. The pumps were not taking cards, but there was no sign or indication. THEN the actual pumps... are painstakingly slow. I've been backpacking/hitch hiking with my best friend, east to west and yes people hate seeing travelers with backpacks, they... assume we are homeless junkies and not home-free non-conformists. Anyways I spent over $80 on food and cigarettes within twodays, we sat outside the rest stop for less than 10 minutes to use the restroom and eat the food I just purchased before walkingmany miles before it starts to rain, and she was extremely rude with how she said we had to leave. Just a miserable old woman.Mind you, we are respectful people and we were not holding any signs. We had every right to sit there as much as any othertraveler with a vehicle.
