This gas station was a nightmare. The pumps were not taking cards, but there was no sign or indication. THEN the actual pumps... are painstakingly slow. It took my husband almost an hour to pump $100 worth of gas. Several other customers were stuck with thesame issue. The bathrooms were closed with no sign to where the other bathrooms were located. Really friendly staff. The shower room was so clean. Very hot water and great pressure. Didn't catch the attendants name who... cleaned the showers, but special shout out to him for saving my shoes I left in the shower room. You're the best !!! ???? Insideand out was clean as well. They have the PJ Fresh inside. The baked chicken is amazing as well as the spicy wings. Overall, agreat place for a break . With such a friendly staff, it makes your stay even better. Best gas prices in area. Clean restrooms and relatively decent parking. It looked like one of the RV dump stations was free (no... keypad lock) all the way to the left, but all pump-side water faucets were shut off. Also, pump-side air lines were damaged andunusable. There was also plenty of grass to walk your pets. Just watch your step because some pet owners are asshats. There isa CAT scale and propane fill on-premises, with a quick truck lube and truck wash business across the street next to theMcDonald's. Read more
shower 8 has black mold developing on ceiling. floor mat was an old towel ripped in half. the 2 washers take your quarters and... they won't put an out-of-order sign up, Western Union machine out-of-order. Denny's almost gave my food to someone else. peopleshould be more aware. Read more
I've been backpacking/hitch hiking with my best friend, east to west and yes people hate seeing travelers with backpacks, they... assume we are homeless junkies and not home-free non-conformists. Anyways I spent over $80 on food and cigarettes within twodays, we sat outside the rest stop for less than 10 minutes to use the restroom and eat the food I just purchased before walkingmany miles before it starts to rain, and she was extremely rude with how she said we had to leave. Just a miserable old woman.Mind you, we are respectful people and we were not holding any signs. We had every right to sit there as much as any othertraveler with a vehicle. But she called the cops and they said it's private property and what they say goes, doesn't matter ifwe paid.
