I have never been to this Amatos location before, and let me tell you? ABSOLUTE worst customer service I have ever received from... any location I have ever been to. There is the cashier and then pick up. My husband and I went to the pick up side thinkingthat?s where we needed to go, as there were two kids standing there assuming they?re waiting for food, and one of the employeesbehind the counter who is food prepping nastily asked us if we were picking up. we promptly responded ?yes we are? and he rudelytold us to go ?over there? without actually specifying where to go ?over there? -100/10 IF YOU CANNOT PRACTICE GOOD CUSTOMERSERVICE, DO NOT WORK IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. Disappointment. Chicken parm sub no better than pre-packaged chicken nuggets,....meatball sub, roll was stale, ends were chewy,... and house salad was old, translucent iceberg lettuce.... cherry tomato still had the stem and leaves on.... did they even washthe produce before serving? Could be just poor quality control, bad management and off their game but shame to spend $30 forsubpar food. Read more
Stopped at this Amato's Store to get a small pizza for my daughter and I for lunch. I placed the order and paid. The cashier... told me the wait time and I began waiting... and waiting. Finally, after waiting for more than 2.5 times longer than I was toldit would be, a staff member acknowledged me and asked what I was waiting for. After I told her she turned to look at the ovenand informed me that it was my pizza that was coming out of the oven. While the other worker cut and boxed my pizza the personthat was helping me then informed me that the added wait time was due to one of the ovens not working and that it hadn't beenworking all day. It seems to me that it would make sense to inform the customers of this detail when they are placing theirorders instead of telling them the usual wait time. Right? The pizza was good though. My wife and I used to love Amatos wraps. We ordered a veggie wrap and got a chicken salad wrap instead. There was no marking or... whatsoever and my wife being a vegetarian took a bite and threw up. Terrible experience, not going there anymore ! Read more
So inconsistent. Order a chicken Alfredo pasta. Came with no alfredo sauce and only one broccoli.
Great place to come for a real Maine Italian. The pazzo bread is one of my favorites (cheese bread), and the steak and cheese... sandwich was delicious. Wait times can get long on beach weekends so plan accordingly Read more
What can I say they make great Italian sandwiches and they cut all your veggies fresh. They are located all over the state of... Maine and I really feel like they are more popular than subway in Maine. The only thing I wish was for their bread to be alittle more fresh, I have had really fresh bread from other Amatos locations and we were really looking forward to thissandwich. Don't get me wrong still really good however, the bread just needed a little work. Read more
Order took twenty minutes longer than it was supposed to, and they have a sign that clearly states door dash pickup on one side,... but one of the female employees just kept yelling at the door dashers to go to the other end. I have yet to be in an Amatosthat was efficient or courteous. This is nuts Read more
