The chicken meat in the soup was undercooked. The beef with broccoli was not very tasty. It seemed that the cook was in a hurry... and did everything in haste. It's a pity, because it's very clean and comfortable, great atmosphere and service. Read more

Chia Sen has always been my go-to for chinese food. The food is great and they have a lot of vegetarian options. I recently... placed a large takeout order for my work and we were missing an entrée. When I called, the staff was extremely accommodatingand offered to replace or refund me immediately. Great Place! Read more

This is not our normal restaurant, so we were unsure of what to expect. I had high hopes and was quickly disappointed. Food is... incredibly bland, no flavor, anything fried is soggy for take out. Online ordering was the best part of this restaurant. Weordered: chicken fingers (soggy with that funny reheated chicken smell), cream rangoons (cold, frozen most likely), houselo-mein had absolutely no flavor, not an exaggeration. Pork Fried rice is as basic as basic can be...1 step above white rice.Sesame chicken was just orange chicken with sesame seeds on breaded chicken pieces, so to you guessed it, soggy. Bonelessspareribs were good. Chicken wings were good (we did order them plain, so not sure of the sauce flavor). Restaurant seemedvery clean and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the food was not good at all. I'd continue to search before cominghere. Read more

I’ve consistently had a good experience here. I really enjoy the food and my son loves the place. Food has been hot and tasty... each time I’ve eaten here or ordered here. One of the better egg drop soups I’ve ever had. The closest thing to New York/New Jersey Chinese food I’ve had in Maine. Read more

Ordered food to go tonight and the boneless spare ribs and egg rolls were exceptional. The food is fresh, tasty and extremely... well prepared. I love the food, the family that owns it and their pride in making fresh quality food shows! Read more

Clean, tasty, Americanized Chinese food. One way to tell how authentic a Chinese restaurant is by trying hot & sour soup. The... soup was good, but it lacked a little punch. Everything was good but it lacked a little bit of authentic Chinese flavor. Often, audience determines the taste and that's exactly what it's happening. This restaurant is for the Westernized suburbanmild and boring palate! Nothing wrong with that. Mongolian beef was good, but it didn't have much flavor. They could haveadded a bit more oyster sauce and ginger. The triple crown was probably the best dish we ordered, with chicken, beef andshrimp, but leaned on the boeing side. The beef chow fun was good, but also a bit bland and lacked more beef. The curse ofhaving traveled all over Southeast Asia and tried all kinds of Chinese food from the best, made us crave something moreauthentic which it doesn't exist in Portland, ME. This restaurant definitely caters to mild Western palate. All the customerswere locals. My daughter would love this food. The portion could have been a bit more for the money. Order from the regularmenu instead of smaller portion lunch. Overall, clean, healthy, good food with very little MSG which resulted clean tastewithout any after taste. A good place to visit if you're looking for a mild Western Chinese food. Read more
