Picked up a beautiful tiramisu birthday cake. I am thrilled with the decorating of it and I can't wait to taste it.

The hot table in Calabria Bakery has different delicious options made with fresh ingredients, the lasagna is my favourite. The... pizza is made on a wood fire oven, it?s the best pizza in this area of Scarborough (sold only on Thursdays and Fridays). I lovethis bakery! ?? Read more

Good spot for a quick bite. The prices are reasonable, the hot food is tasty, staff is friendly. The baked good are the best,... doughnuts and pastry. The Italian tomatoe sauce has a great flavour, make sure you ask for extra. Pasta is cooked to the rightconsistency. You will not regret if you are craving some Italian without breaking the wallet. I am giving this place a low score based on the service I received and the fact that they were out of pizza. I dropped by this... establishment to try the wood oven pizza and to my delight at approximately 2:20PM in the afternoon on Dec. 9th, (keep in mind, they are now open till 5pm), the lady behind the counter said they are not making any more pizza for the day. I then asked whattime do they stop making the pizza, she said 230pm, then she corrected herself and said they ran out of dough. Not impressed. I then took the two slices that were premade and paid 3.68$. Not happy with the price. The slices are tiny and the pizza washard as a rock, as she did not offer to warm the slices. This is a safety hazard. I can't comment on the pizza as not enoughbites to enjoy as it was so small, not enough for a snack or a meal. Read more

I haven?t been here for at least 10 years. This place had a wood-fired stone oven for baking Pizza pies. Well, it?s still... here!! The downside is the oven is only fired up for lunch on Thursday?s and Friday?s so I had to settle for somethingelse. My take-out dinner was a $7.50 Veal Sandwich on a round Kaiser bun with peppers, onions, mushrooms and extra sauce. Iadded a $2.50 Arancini which is a rice mixture rolled into a ball with mozzarella, sauce and peas in the centre and then coatedwith bread crumbs before frying. How can anyone go to an Italian bakery without buying a Brio soda and a $3.50 decadentdessert? Not me! It?s my reward for returning home after a long absence. Total bill was $17.45 which was reasonable for myevening treat tonight. If I had the time, I would have stayed and ate my delicious meal in their large seating area. I willreturn for my Pizza Pie!! Been coming here for years, convenient to stop in for lunch when in the area. They have a hot table and then Thursdays and... Fridays they take orders for fire wood oven pizzas which are great. Of course they have fresh bread and deli meats along withother pastries. Read more
