Gourmet Malaysia is a great halal place for authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food. I?ve tried many of their dishes and almost all... of them were amazing. I love their garlic calamari, sambal prawns, beef rendang and fish. The Singapore laksa is definitelyoverhyped but everything else is pretty good. The prices are decent for the amount of food. While the food is great, I do thinkthey could improve the ambiance of the restaurant. The service isn?t that great either. I?d rather take out than dine in. Read more

If you are in Toronto searching for real Malaysia food. This is the place for you. I never been to Malaysia so I don't know how... authentic it is but I love it in compare to other Malaysia restaurant. Love their curry and meat skewer!!!!! It is so tasty andit just feels like they are authentic!!! Is one of those feelings that you love it no matter what.... Lol. All other dishestaste really good. Service is really good. Everyone we come into to contact with are great to us. They space their table nicelyand I feels comfortable. I will come back and try other food items for sure. Read more

Gourmet Malaysia is a Scarborough staple that has been serving authentic Malaysian food for years. Some of my favourites are... their mee goreng, stir fried belachan greens, char kway teow, nasi lemak and roti canai. They have quite an extensive menu sothere have been the occasional miss but the classics are always great. They have wok hei flavours and strong punchy flavours. Delicious and affordable dishes that are perfect for family style dining. The price is extremely reasonable for the excellent... quality. We ordered Indonesian fried rice, fish fried fillet, green curry chicken and a Malaysian beef item. Green chicken curry was... good, rests all items are tastes like any other hakka chinese, nothing special. I didn?t find any different taste.
