The food was horrible. The rice was hard and dry like stones. The Bombay chicken was dry and tasteless the crispy ginger beef... was not crispy and hard. But the rice was an insult. It's very angering to spend 14 on a combo and be given stale hard rice withno veggies and just soy sauce. Stop doing that to people we are not picking up money on the road. If I could bring the food backand throw it right back at in restaurant I would. Waste of money, time and just made me feel very upset. It's fun that this place is called Hakka No. 1. Because this is genuinely, my number one favorite place for food. There isn't a... dish I've had that I didn't like. Even when it was too spicy. It was still, sooooo good that I ate it. I love this place. Thanksfor existing. Read more

I give the restaurant 3 stars. Foods not terrible. I found the calamari, Shanghai noodles, and wonton noodles undercooked. As... they weren't soft enough. But it wasn't terrible. The flavour wasn't bad it's there. Just I feel prices should be lower to matchquality. The manchurian chicken in gravy was soggy but flavour was good. I had the dine in experience. Customer service wasgreat. The restaurant would benefit from dessert and drink options. As they don't serve dessert; and drink options are basic popalso water served was warm. I ordered the fried rice and chicken ball combo?word to the wise: do not order any special modifications for your meal. I... ordered mine without green peas and it came just like this?.no onion, no carrot, not one vegetable substitute, and totallylacking flavour/salt. When I called to find out why our food was so plain I was told that they premix the carrot with the peas,they continued to tell me that it will come plain always when modified (at the same cost) I was also told that they will not addany other vegetables. For $13.50 I think a little broccoli or ANY other veggie would be fair. Very plain food with bad serviceto follow. There food has really fallen off. Read more

Ordered a party tray of lollipop fried chicken for my friend's wedding (cause the groom loves fried chicken lol) and everyone... loved it, especially the spicy sauce that came with it. A lot of guests asked where the fried chicken was from. It was my firsttime getting party tray from this location and I'm happy with the quality of food. Read more
