We ordered the meal deal of the hot soup which was great, the manchurian chicken was great too but I was told it was chilli... chicken ...so then the chilli chicken didn't taste anything like what chilli chicken was meant to taste like. No chopsticks wereavailable which shocked us. Read more

We ordered Manchurian Fried rice, Manchurian chicken, chilli beef, and hot and sour soup. It was totally a disaster and I regret... it. All the positive reviews written for this restaurant is very misleading. We came all the way from Ottawa to have this foodand we were extremely disappointed. Food were awfully tasteless. The fried rice and the chicken were completely red. I think therestaurant needs to fire their cook or might consider closing the restaurant. Read more

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! The most unexpected?and unfavorable?restaurant I had been to in the city after many others was this... restaurant. I do not advise large families to eat the meals that the CHEAPEST owner offers because they are served in extremelyunreasonable little portions. First, how are we supposed to eat food off of such a tiny plate? We ordered two types of rice,both of which were bland and didn't fill anyone up. The soup would be kept on top of the plates, I assumed. Stupid service. Themedium soup comes from a tin can most definitely and is only enough for one person. It also tastes nothing like a real mediumsoup. When we divided the soup in some way, my son discovered while eating midway a small piece of hair. The server/only cashierapologized, took the soup bowl back, but made up for it with a Ginger-ale; that's all he gave us; he didn't give us anotherbowl. Do they lack business management skills? - Yes They have supposedly been operating for five years, which is absurd. Ishould have left the instant I saw the soup, but I didn't think to do so because we had just finished a long journey and weredeciding to stop wherever. I suppose that is why our family was the only one inside. After that, I had to stop at Tim?s becausethe restaurant did not satisfy anyone. Seriously. Although the prices appear to be reasonable on the website, the serving sizeis insufficient when compared to other restaurants. So, overall, I'd say it's expensive for the size. It was a perfect dinner to consider( 10/28/21). Excellent customer service. Food was great and served hot. We?ve got Manchuarian... Beef and Mixed Fried , beef was so tender and tasty. The ambiance is good and the place was clean and tidy. Highly. Recommendedand will surely come back. Read more

Thought I'd try this hakka place out for the first time as its near my house and showed up on ubereats first of all they scam... consumers by purposely pricing this special 1cent lower than actual cost of 15$ to $14.99 so youre forced to order one morething to get the free uber delivery so i ended up picking it up. The restaurant looked nice on the inside but man this food isso gross its all greasy and tastes like burnt oil i cant even eat it!!! the wings smelled like cheap chicken and look at thesize of it must be from that low quality sargent farms steroid wings for sure dont believe any of the other reviews they chargedme close to 17$ for this garbage and its not worth it nor is it edible there are much better hakka spots in the city AVOID ATALL COSTS!! never again am i coming here Read more

Ordered takeout from here. Really glad I did! The food was delicious and the portions were a good size. I was going to order... from Federick but they never answered their phone. So happy I didn?t get through at Federick, the food here is much better.Definitely recommend this place! Read more
