Seeing the reviews we placed an order for Calcutta chicken and we regret even trying this place..the chicken was awfully stale... and it had unchewable parts. Taste was ok but the fact that the chicken was stale throws you off..we threw the dish away. What awaste of money? Read more
Beware.... check your bill for service charge before tipping. They charge 10% regardless the number of people. And make sure... that the server returns the change. Expensive mistake. Tip cost me 1/3 of the total bill. Also, the 10% discount on cash paymentwas not extended. So all in all I paid 30% more. Yikes! Here I was supporting local that cheats it's own. Best Chinese food ever! I could not believe that such good Chinese food is available here at such good prices. Ordering process... over the phone was quite easy and she explained the sides and told the total price on phone as well. Will definitely refer thisplace to our friends and also come here more often. We had a take out from Kim Kim after ages and it was great! Great experience ordering with the lady on the phone, food was hot,... everything tasted very nice albeit a little low on salt (better than being too salty), good portions, a bit more salt and theywould have been perfect 10/10. Most of the Hakka restaurants don't provide good customer service, Kim Kim not different. Environment is very poor. We ordered... prawn n chicken pakora, two different kind of soup. Fried rice, chicken chili, mix veg and noodles. Food taste according to meis 4/10, quantity is acceptable according to price. Read more
This is the best place to go for Hakka food. A little hole in the wall shop with amazing & friendly staff. All the food is great... value as well. Never a bad experience when I come here. Always, always, always get the Chicken or Shrimp Pekoras (or both! Theyhave that on their menu too!) The green coriander chutney that comes with it is the absolute best and makes every other one oftheir dishes better. We always have to ask for more (and more).
