The restaurant wall painting is undoubtedly very attractive.but sadly I found restaurant dine-in service is very poor.I will not... recommend this place for any small party or large group dine-in . The restaurant doesn?t have enough crockeries nor have enoughmanpower to service a large amount of people.Recently one of my friend through a party for 20 people but. We found they failedto serve us bowls/spoon/toilet tissues etc .the restaurant attendant had not clue about food quantity nor able to provide usquality of service.At end since we were in a group so two or three persons shared one plate and one bowl of soup as they failedto provide us enough utensils. Heard about North Kabab on the social media food scene. The place is not new but it keeps getting great reviews. We decided to... get an order for pickup on a Monday. We were greeted so nicely and showed all of the options on the menu. The lady's enthusiasmat the counter was so awesome, I wanted to try everything! We decided to get a family dinner for 5, as it had a nice variety ofthings. For takeout the presentation and portion sizes were fantastic. The meat was cooked nicely and not dry, spices werelovely. We ordered catering for 28 people (2 separate platter combos for 20 and 8 people). We don't live in the area so we would have... had a difficult time picking up the order but the restaurant was very understanding and was able to deliver the food for a fee.The owner is responsive and conducting business with him was hassle-free. The portions were very generous and there was plentyof food left over. Quantity in trays: 3 rice, 1 fries, 1 naan, 2 salad, 4 meat (6 types!), and 2 mantu. The flavor was mostlyexcellent. The meats were all tender, well-seasoned, and went very well with the chutney which had a little bit of heat to it.The carbs were a tad plain. The fries were not seasoned and the rice was simple as well; however, they helped balance thesaltiness of the meat so everything tasted great. This is the best Afghan restaurant I've been to in Toronto and I highlyrecommend it to anyone that's looking for some central Asian food. Read more
Went here for dinner late on a Sunday. Very clean store with a very helpful cashier. Was not too familiar with Afghanistan named... dishes, and she was helpful in explaining what they were. Ordered the lamb shank dinner for myself, and can say that it was verywell cooked! Great portions. Dipping sauces were nice and tasty. We stayed after to chat for 2 hours enjoying the nice wallpaintings and environment. They close at 12am so was a very nice hangout spot. Read more

First time visiting this place was very good experience ?? Friendly, warm and very well trained stuff! Not like in many other... Afghan places, where for some reason waitresses are very rude from beginning! Doogh(drink) taste just like home made,chicken wasvery flavourful! Fries was tasty,and the souse to ???? just bomb ! Thank you so much for having our family ,we will come backdefinitely! Just one important point TO OWNER! I enjoyed the service and the food was decent but they are also charging 50 cents for extra sauces and $1.50 for water bottles... without any option of tap water/pitcher which is outrageous. We had 8 people in our party and I went and got the water bottlesthat I keep in my car trunk. They expect us to tip them after gouging for something as simple as water. I'll skip this placenext time.
