I love Phoenix. I am a regular customer. My family usually orders: the Green Curry Chicken; Thai Spring Rolls; Chicken Balls;... and Singapore Noodles. It is ready super quick and is very delicious. I am worried that the restaurant may disappear in the nearfuture when the planned condos get built on this site. I hope they can stay in the neighbourhood. I discovered this place on a winter night when it was snowy. I am surprised I didn't try their food earlier than that. So far I... have tried their Szechuan fried rice, spicy fried rice, lemon chicken and all of these were delicious. They offer a verygenerous portion size and quality food. I love egg in the fried rice and they even ask about any allergies before adding egg tothe rice. Their chili sauce has a distinctive and good taste. Service is great. I usually get Chinese food in Markham and have been looking for somewhere to eat near my in-laws. I?m so glad we tried out... Phoenix. They use good quality ingredients, have generous portions and just overall really impressed me. We have eaten heretwice and both times like everything we ordered. Hidden gem right on Kingston Rd and Scarborough Golf Club Rd. It serves up great food, that you won't find in any other typical... Chinese Restaurant. Has great selection, from spicy, to crispy, to sweet. Their Coconut Soup is great. And the size of theshrimp they serve is huge! Read more
I don't normally write google reviews (in fact this is my first) but I just love Phoenix! My family and I have been coming here... for years and out of all the hakka restaurants I have tried, Phoenix is the best! Its affordable, the portions are generous andtheir menu offers a variety of dishes that can accommodate people with different food preferences! The food is delicious/tasty/authentic and the staff are friendly and efficient. Pheonix does dine in, take-out and can even accommodate larger groupswhere a buffet option is available! The two MUST try dishes would be the prawns in sweet garlic chili sauce and the chickenpakora (I order these everytime)! Read more
I usually go here at lunch with work colleagues. Great lunch specials with a spring roll n soup. Most dishes at $6.50 + tax.... Tastes great and not too oily. Good and fast service. Spacious restaurant and parking lot is not busy. Read more

Wasted money. Never again. Whatever you do, don't order the Cantonese Chow Mein. You'll get some monstrosity covered in a... disgusting, curdled and separated sauce with a truckload of vegetables that have no business in chow mein. I called to tell themI thought they gave me the wrong dish and the cook came on the phone to tell me that it's the right dish, that's just thestyle. I literally couldn't eat it, and I'm a pig who will eat just about anything. Apparently disgusting is a style now. Thecrispy beef was soft and chewy and the steamed rice was stale and dry.
