April 8, 2022 {3.5 Stars} Ordered delivery by Skip the Dishes: Small Curry Chicken w/ Rice & Peas, Boneless Chicken Roti, 1x... side coleslaw, 1x Fried Plantain PROS: - Portion sizes of Curry, Rice & Peas, & Chicken Roti were quite large for price, greatvalue! - Fried Plantain tasty but seemed expensive for portion size (one single plantain was $3.50) - Curry Chicken (boneless)seemed to be all dark meat, and had no potato (pro/con depending on your preference) - Curry gravy was delicious andmedium-thick consistency CONS: - there were 2 or 3 pieces of gristle in the curry chicken, and tiny bone piece. Be careful iffor a child/senior - Poor Packaging (of curry) for delivery: Styrofoam flap-lid container, in paper bag, then all in plasticbag, tied. Curry gravy had leaked all over bottom of paper bag- stained my countertop. Restaurant could consider using a bettersealed container for liquids. - $2.50 for very small portion of coleslaw, average taste- a bit too sweet, very finely mincedtexture - Roti was very thin, and broken up- not wrapped properly, filling exposed. Husband didn't like the overall taste ofRoti Chicken. Really delicious lunch spot to check out if you?re in the area! Very well priced and the owner/chef was so kind. Boyfriend had... the jerk chicken with rice and peas and oxtail gravy. Chicken was flavourful with a great kick to it. I had the Chana roti whichwas huge (could only finish half so I have leftovers!), hearty, delicious and perfect for a cloudy day.
