Sorry but...my colleague and I had the worst excuse for a festive roast beef sandwich ever. 4 or 5 small chared strips of meat... overly peppered to mask the poor quality and small portion of beef. With a fountain soft drink and tip, I paid $28 forbasically, garbage. This was however, one time I was actually happy with a small portion. Swiss Chalet, or least this one, hasgone way down. They should change their slogan to ?always so little for so much? Ordered for a delivery order for my partner and I. His... ?quarter chicken? was more like 1/8th of a chicken, and there was no butter for the bun or ketchup for the fries included. Thefood tasted fine, but it was hardly enough for what we spent. I used to love Swiss Chalet as a child but their quantities andservice have obviously decreased since then. Will not be ordering from/dining in there anymore. Read more
The portions and food have become garbage. For years I would always order the chicken spring rolls - they were large and came... with six spring rolls, and were very filling. Tonight my family and I ordered food, and were extremely disappointed with thequality. I ordered the chicken spring rolls, and instead of getting 6 rolls, I only got 4, and they were half the size andabsolute garbage compared to what they used to be. Swiss chalet is just another fast food place that can?t keep up. Don?t orderfrom them anywhere. Especially not this location! The servers made the experience Pleasant but the food wasn't so great! My wife got a caesar salad which was soggy and she got... the rotisserie chicken on top. The chicken was cold and just flung on top. The overall experience was saved by the server onthis day. Happy Thanksgiving ???? Read more
My wife and I went to Swiss Chalet/Harvey's at Milner in Scarborough. My wife ordered the 8 pcs. of chicken wings with side... order of rice. She requested that the hot sauce be put on the side not on the wings it self. The first ordered of wings the hotsauce was smothered all over the wings. The cashier never bothered to tell the kitchen the request from the customer. Wecomplained about the first order, they took it back. I clearly could see that the cook wasn't happy that he needed to prepare asecond set of wings. I talked to the manager told, him who took our order and our request for hot sauce on the side not on thewings. The replacement wings came, my wife noticed right away that the wings were oily and not strained properly, they were dry,under cooked and bloody. We give this location a "F" they clearly didn't care about customer service, improperly cooked wings,health and safety of a customer. Me and my wife will never go back to this location. Read more
This has to be one of the worst Swiss chalet I have been to, Very dirty takeout area and as far as you can see in the... kitchen, Order taking staff on takeout counter need some serious training on customer service, they ask you what you want andwhen you start placing your order they start talking to another staff member, there is so much cross talk it sounds like a massconfusion, I ordered a 1/4 chicken combo, the chicken was so dry that the skin on it was like dried leather, so dry that youcouldn?t cut it with a knife, even the drumstick meat was like wood chips, cold fries and very cold, stale and chewy dinnerroll, It?s a shame, this is the closest location to my house, I will have to find another branch next time I am wishing forSwiss chalet, Update 27/7/2022: The response below from Swiss Chalet sounds like a false pretense that they care about theircustomers, I entered that reference number below and filled the customer survey on their website and to date no one hascontacted me. OK experience. The chicken was hot and delicious, however the fries were a bit soggy. The ribs I had ordered ended up cold on... the first order and even when I had approached the staff about this and they had replaced it, it was still mostly cold.Although, the staff were polite and friendly. Pecan and Apple pies for dessert were good. Read more
We ordered a combo, and didn?t give us a drink cause we didn?t ask for a drink? so I have to go back to the cashier and Ask a... drink?
