Was there for a party in in banquet hall. Food was excellent and servers really outdid themselves.
Visited for the first time after hearing that Chef Dave from Faldoni's became the new head chef last week. Very nice place in... Schaghticoke just off route 40. Large U shaped bar, serving great drinks all night. Placed filled up around 6-6:30 with manyfriendly locals who talked across the bar. Had the NY strip steak cooked mid-rare and it was spot on, seasoned wonderfully witha tasty loaded baked potato. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food was flying out of the kitchen. Worth the 27 minutes drive forme. I will be going back soon. Looking forward to seeing what Chef Dave will bring to the menu in the coming months! Read more
We order pizza and two fish fries. I gave this restaurant a three Stars on the food because of the pizza. First off the pizzas... are very small. It's more like a personal Pizza. It came served in an aluminum tray which would be basically good for a Sicilianstyle pizza. But the crust is about 1 in thick and very hard. The pizza would have definitely been better if they gave the doughtime to rise. But on the other hand we had a fish fry and fish and chips. The fish fry was outstanding. It even came with aciabatta roll. Not a cheap hot dog roll. The fries were good and the cold so I was excellent. Both the fish fry and the fish andchips came with a very nice size piece of fish that was cooked correctly and very tasty. The batter they use came out crisp andcrunchy which was nice and not a traditional beer batter. I would highly recommend both these dishes if you're looking for agood meal. I also thought they were very fairly priced on the fish dinners. Only $12.99. but they do need to work on theirpizzas. If you order the pizza for two people you will need to order something else along with it because you will not go homesatisfied. The waitress and the other employees were all extremely nice friendly and a pleasure to talk with. I will mostdefinitely try this place again. But I won't be ordering the pizza. Read more
Outside porch dining, beautiful bar, excellent food and service. Catering and banquet menus. I hidden gem in our small town.
Wings were amazing. Best wing sauce would be the medium garlic Parm. Pizza wasn't too bad it had a different crust. Wait staff... was gracious and presentation was amazing. Def an 8 or 9 out of ten for wings. Read more
Food was just ok. Wait staff was exceptional. The biggest problem was the price. Substituted sweet potato fries instead of... regular. Most restaurants will up charge. They charged full price, an extra $4.00 for each of us. You would expect this if yourmeal also came with the reg. fries, but didn't. The menu stated the meal came with pickles. For some reason they placed 4 or 5pickle chips in a bowl and charged $1.00 for them. Read more
My burger was ordered well done. I got Pink inside with the out side charred very well. My companions Alfredo sauce was so... thin. Our first visit and we were not impressed. The burgers and dinners are couple of bucks more then I'm willing to pay forthe mediocre meals. Read more
