Loved the vibe of this place, loved how big it was, and the overall ambiance. The service was also really good as well as the... drinks! I got a coconut mojito and it was ????. As far as the food goes? It left a lot to be desired. It was all good. But Ifelt like there was a pineapple chutney in literally everything. The coconut shrimp tacos were also good but there was only like2 shrimp cut up in each. It just seemed like they were cutting corners to get more bang for their buck. This place was amazing!! my first time there went with some family and friends had coconut shrimp for the appetizer and for my... meal we got jerk. Wings was amazing. The flavor was awesome. Overall a decent experience! We had been to Bahama Breeze in Florida once, so wanted to taste the flavors here as well. We came... here with our family including a child/grand parents, so this place definitely welcomes people of all ages. I like thevegetarian options although very limited but good. Conch fritters were delicious but small portion. The drinks are what broughtus here primarily & it didn’t disappoint. Margarita flight had some delectable flavors. It's a must-try! My husband loved theside of simmered shrimp, paired with a french loaf. Black bean taco & shrimp tacos???? were a good addition to our meal.Pairing it with rice & beans was even better . This place caught my eye as I drove by so I stopped in for a quick bite. The main area was pretty full (it's huge - I visited on... a Sunday afternoon) but the bar area was empty so I grabbed a booth in that section. The bartender greeted me quickly, took mydrink order, then promptly forgot I was there for a long time. I finally waved someone down and, from there, things greatlyimproved. The only thing that irritated me was when I grinned and said, "Hey, it's been 20 minutes; I think you forgot aboutme," the bartender replied with a blank face, "What can I get you?" Excuse me, bartender, I was being nice; I totally watchedyou watching TV over there. Own it, acknowledge it, and let's move on. I ordered a cup of black bean soup and the honey butterfried chicken sandwich with fresh fruit and mango sorbet for my side. I was *really* happy with my choices! The soup was thickand full of flavor and the sandwich was just right - crisp, delicious, neither greasy nor dry, and with delicious spicy pickles.Normally, I'd just have the typical side of fries with my sandwich but the fresh fruit (pineapple plus a couple of purplegrapes) with mango sorbet was the perfect choice! Convenient location, spacious restaurant. Decor is island themed. It transports you to a beautiful island. Bar is well stocked... and beautiful to look at. Menu is very good with jerk chicken, jerk shrimp etc. New items are frequently added. Drinks aretasty. Ultimate pineapple frozen cocktail is my favorite and it is served in a pineapple. Visited this place during happy hours and it was worth it. During happy hours, the appetizers and drinks cost half the price.... Although the timings are very odd (4pm-6pm) from Monday-Friday, if you are free during those times, then it is worth yourmoney. This has been a long-time favorite lunch spot to meet with friends. For years, I taught dance classes for adults at the... Schaumburg Park District. My dancers and I always lunched after, and Bahama Breeze was on our regular rotation. Great lunchspecials! I’ve always found the chef to be very accommodating to food restrictions, which makes dining with a varied groupof people so much nicer. And who can pass up an occasional tropical drink, even if you go with no alcohol! I’ve also hadvery good dinner experiences here, as well, and the evening service was great. Read more
