I think 3 stars is generous. I walked in at 1pm and was literally the only person there. They were polite and friendly and sat... me wherever I wanted. The table was sticky. I was brought a room temperature beer which is a definite no no. Went to wash up andthe floor was all slippery everywhere and the bathroom was a complete mess. Tried every hand sanitizer station in the restaurantand they were all empty. What?s everyone doing? Clean up a bit. The pork buns were unimpressive and lacked flavor and spice. Theribeye sliders were not good at all. The chicken drumsticks were very tasty and the meat was juicy and tender. The kimchi sidewas blah. Service was super friendly but I?m definitely going elsewhere next time. Read more

It was my first time going but my partner has been before in the city and loved it. We tried this location for her birthday. It... was great! I never had this type of food before but it was delicious. However, I can?t handle the spicy wings, so I have tostick with the soy garlic. We ordered the following: order of fried chicken (half and half), pickled radish, coleslaw, andkimchi, edamame, and pot sticks(half and half) and house fried rice with bulgogi along with a few drinks. Our waitress waswonderful and attentive. Very kind, we will be back again. Thank you! Read more

How is the chicken? Some of the best you will ever have! Bonchon has the best wings in the Chicago area. The hot wings,... depending on which cook prepares them, will be both very spicy and fabulously delicious. They are perfectly crispy and goperfectly with the pickled radishes. If you?re looking for something different and several steps better than BWW - give Bonchona try. Read more

A bit too pricey for chicken wings and drums. 2 flavors of sauce, one is a mild sweet delicious flavor and a great texture bite.... The other flavor is hard to say because the spiciness was so intense that all I felt was my mouth, tongue, lips, esophagus...andI'm pretty sure the plate also, melting away. I'm not sure if the hot wings are always that hot, or if someone messed up withthat batch of sauce and pretty much only put intense pepper juice all over it. I eat hot wings all the time...as well as spicyTai, Vietnamese, Indian, Mexican, and other hot foods. This was up there for contending with the top 5 hottest foods I've evereaten. I've had ghost pepper wings that were definitley hotter than this...but not by much lol. 15 bucks for 5 drums isn't worththe price honestly too for me, but they have some decent standard katsu and other menu options from bothe Japan and Korea. Thisplace actually has a nice bar. They should add a sign that says "restaurant and bar". It would make for a nice stop on a barcrawl going from City Works to Kumas Corner, to Bonchon, to Miller's Ale ...without crossing golf road. Another note is that theCinnaholic Cinnabon store is next door, which is amazing, and is absolutely has to be your dessert stop after this place. Alland all I think the service and food are solid. I knocked 1 star down for being overpriced...I can chalk up the intense wingsauce to my own inadequacy. Lol Read more

Great experience there. Came here off of a recommendation from my little cousins, who are obsessed with this place. I'll have... to say that's some of the best Korean Fried Chicken I can possibly get in the midwest. We didn't know which one to get so wetried the spicy and the soy sauce one. The spicy one is definitely much better. It gives a nice kick with each bite along withas you've seen from other ppl's reviews the perfect CRUNCH!!! The soy sauce one is way too salty. It may work well with justplain white rice and some white radish kimchi, but not feeling that one. The Bulgogi tacos were a nice blend of Asian fusionmixing Korean beef put into a Mexican style soft-shell taco. It was alright. The sauce was a little excessive that I couldn'treally appreciate the flavors of the meat in the taco, but it was still pretty good. My friends ordered the Bibimbop which wasnice, since they put it in a stone bowl, which can help make some of the rice get that crispy crunchiness. It's nice bc thereis a vegetarian option for those that do not eat meat in a Fried Chicken joint! :) OMG the Parmesan Cheese Fries wereamazing!!! foodgasmic experience with each bite. This restaurant has a unique way of making sure their food retains it'scrispy crunchiness. Big fan of that. The Spicy chicken ??? was way too American in tastes, which in the USA makes sense.Overly saucy and white meat chicken, seriously? If that's dark meat, it doesn't have the nice plump juiciness that dark meatchicken should have. Plus it doesn't really come with any lettuce wraps or Perilla leaves, just a bowl of rice. It's alrightfor American tastes, but at least they made it spicy. I will be coming back again, but only sparingly. It is on the pricierend, but it is in a Chicago Suburbs, you're gonna have to pay money to get food like this. The service was adequate, I wouldn'tsay extraordinary or superb, but not terrible or anything. I don't think they deserve the amount that the rec Read more

This was my first time eating chicken from a Korean restaurant and the chicken was pretty good! I?m not a fan of sticky chicken... but, I had to try these since I hadn?t before. Of course I checked the reviews first...they were pretty good for a dine-inexperience and figured they should be good to try. The host was super friendly and the restaurant is well kept. They were goodalong with the house-made coleslaw! I got both the soy garlic and spicy chicken. If you?re not a fan of spice, stick to the soygarlic chicken, which is good alone. I only like GOOD house-made coleslaw, not the juicy packed kind they give you at everychicken shack in Chicago (rolls eyes). I?ll be eating here again, dining-in next time. Read more
