It was a Sunday late afternoon and we felt like eating steak. But not just ordinary steak. Steak from Brazil Express Grill!!!!... We walked in and we felt right at home. We did not mess around and started off with prime sirloin, top sirloin, filé mignon andgarlic steak complemented with top notch red wine. They just kept coming on a spit and we finally gave up. I made reservations online for myself, my husband, and our 6 year old daughter for Father's Day. When we arrived, they informed... us that they did not have our reservation on the books. They asked if we made the reservation online. Which implied to me thatthere might have been issues before with online reservations. The manager asked what was going on and the hostess filled him in.He quickly got us a table. No issues. Our server was young, and seemed a bit new, but he was on top of drinks, bread, etc. Weasked about one of the sensory bins that is advertised on the website and our server had no idea what we were talking about. Heseemed new so I'm gathering that's why. He spoke to the manager who approached us and inquired what we were asking for. Once Iexplained, he got us one quickly. My daughter (who is autistic and had zero interest in any of the food there) had a great timewith the items in the sensory bin. She stayed occupied and happy while myself and my husband got to enjoy our meal. The food wasgreat. Some of the steaks had a bit much fat on them BUT that did not detract from the flavor. Every time I search for Brazilian steakhouse, this place always pop up. Even though the reviews are always great every time it... comes up within my search criteria, I always end up going somewhere else because this restaurant is like in a big strip mall andnot in its own building. It just doesn't feel like a nice steakhouse because of the location etc. I finally decided to give thisplace a try because every where else was pretty booked and kind of far for the late dinner time. I must say, the meat was verydelicious and my plate of meat stayed warm for a longer time than other Brazilian steakhouse. I can pass on the salad barbecause I didn't have a huge taste for what they have. The best part was the grilled pineapples. It brought back memories when Iused to go to Brazzaz in Chicago downtown before they decided to close down. Meat was a little saltier but it was stilldelicious and I don't know how many times I have to repeat saying how delicious it was. The bananas and bread at the table wasso good too. I don't usualy eat chimichurri but from all the places I've had it, this is the best! My family had a great time.The atmosphere was nice and I like how they have a set up with a couch between the first and second door of the front entrance.The staff was very nice. Observing, they look more like a family than just coworkers. I'll definitely come again and recommendthis place to others! My husband and I LOVE this place. I would love to come more often but it is a little pricey so we come here occasionally.... Although, it's a better price than it's competitors which charge up to $30 more per person. Food is amazing and there is someoneon staff (not sure his name) who remembers how I like my meat cooked everytime I come in and just brings it out cooked likethat. Will recommend to anyone. Read more
