Chicken Parmigiana was delicious along with the the pasta. The best part was the service! Our waitress Karen was lovely and... patient. She explained everything, checked on us frequently and boxed up our food. We had two other members of the staff comecheck on us and help us, not including the hostess who was just as friendly. This place was perfect for a casual dinner. This place prides themselves on being family owned and making everything from... scratch. Immediately walking in we felt welcomed by the friendly staff, seated right away, and had our drink order taken. Thegentleman who took our drink order warmly introduced our waitress Karen who was also warm and welcoming. Karen took her timewith us, reviewed the menu, and continously checked in on us. By far the best experience of mine and the wife's life!! People were so friendly!! Food was phenomenal!! They give you big... portions!! Very clean. Lights were so nice being dim and having the candles at the table were perfect!! My wife was so happy shestarted tearing and that made me tear cause seein her that happy made my year. Service was outstanding! Our server was on point and friendly. The ambience had low light and candles, slighty upscale... restaurant with white tablecloths. it's a great date night spot or a perfect place for a birthday dinner. We saw about 4birthday celebrations during our dinner and the servers bring out bottles with huge sparklers in them while singing. Food wasgreat, but the only complaint that I have would be that all our meat and veggies were over charred. I ordered the steakmedallions and they were chared and looked over cooked but after cutting into the steak it was a perfect medium rare. I hadshrimp with my steak and those were cooked perfectly. Garlic mashed potatoes are top notch too! My husband's Lamb, Brusselsprouts and potato fingerlings were all covered with a dark char as well. Tasted fine, but it all had a slight charred taste. We ordered a large carry out order which contained an order of lamb chops. We were never asked how it should be cooked, so I did... not expect it rare. When they came out rare I called to voice my concern and suggested that the restaurant credit me the valueof that item the next time I’m in. The response I received is the reason I left this review. AJ told me that the product wasgood it just wasn’t cooked to my liking. He suggested that I cook the chops at home a little more and that I should “enjoythe meal with my family” and call him back if I ever wanted to speak more. SMH, I was so confused by the lack of anyresolution. I am not one to leave either a 1 or 5 star review without any middle ground. My prior experiences eating here inperson were actually good. Hence the 2 stars. The total lack of accountability or a resolution for such an establishedrestaurant was just so befuddling. And to end the conversation with a suggestion to call back if I needed to speak was just soconfusing. Read more
