La Unica has been my go to Latin American restaurant for quite a few years now. I've taken and suggested many friends come here.... Never have I heard a bad thing from anyone. Today was my first time here in hopes to have some delicious Peruvian food. I was not let down and had delicious Papa Rellena... and plátano maduro/frito. Food wasn?t that good. We got Colombian empanadas ( tasteless ), Cuban sandwich ( the meat was old and hard to chew, I got sick... from it) and a Colombian chorizo that even tho was the only thing we kinda liked, was way too small. Read more
The food was tasty and it was a short wait. Plenty of food to pick from and the plantains were cooked different. Plenty of... parking. Would have given 5 stars but the rest room could have been a little cleaner. Cuban, Mexican, & Peruvian Food! Read more
My late friend introduced me to this hidden gem a few years ago. They have the BEST empanadas. Their empanadas are huge and... always made to perfection. They're packed with flavor and seasoned to precision. Their Cuban empanadas pairs perfectly withtheir green sauce, and their Colombian empanadas come with the most delicious Ají. I typically put my order in and run over tothe Korean super market a few stores down to do my groceries and come back to pick them up after. I don't live too far, and theyare always still nice and hot whenever I get home with them. Also, I personally haven't tried any of their entrees, but my latefriend has had his fare share of the menu before he passed, and he still sang praises of all of the meals he's had there. This restaurant is one of a kind. There's a wide variety of entrees and sides. The empanadas and popusas are delicious!
Just a little place wouldn't even know it was there if u weren't looking for it.. big menu I mean huge!.. just tried a few... things so far .. all exceptional, ox tails are amazing, ropa vieja also great! Pozole also very good, try this place it's ???? Read more
