A great place for a boozy brunch in downtown Schenectady. The food and drink options are great, as are the servings. I like that... I don't leave the table feeling stuffed, or hungry. The drink menu is great, as are the drinks themselves. I've been hereseveral times, and the drinks can be either well poured or a little light depending on the time/day. Still, I've yet to have abad experience and/or be disappointed. The service is good, and the food comes out pretty quick. I like that I can come hereand be social, or alone to read a book while I'm enjoying my meal. Definitely my brunch place of choice. Read more

This place is really cool! Kind of a super small hole in the wall type of place. Its like one long narrow corridor. Great... breakfast food! The croissant breakfast sammie was unreal. They use 2 eggs for their sandwiches, and meat is extra add on, butthe sammie is completely customizable. Im not a home froes person, but I finished mine because they were bomb dot com. Read more
I couldn't wait to write a review for this restaurant. We were in town for a softball tournament and went here based on... reviews. All the reviews were spot on. Our server was really awesome and made us feel right at home. Food was absolutelydelicious and was served pretty quickly. This is a highly recommend for me. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Wanted brunch and didn't feel like going too far so figured I would go here since I had been before. I was tossing up two... different places and this one was open earlier than the other. Waitress was pleasant. Ordered a Bloody Mary and got spicytomato juice. Had a bacon, ham and cheese omelet with rye toast and home fries. Food was cooked well and tasted good. Decided toorder another Bloody Mary thinking maybe my tastes were off but nope got another spicy tomato juice. Thinking I should havewent with my second choice but the food made it ok. Read more
It's a funky little restaurant near a lot of little boutiques. The men were beyond friendly, we felt like home, being away from... home. The bagel sandwich was Amazing and the muffins were moist and not too sweet. We loved it, even if you just go for a drinkit's a fun atmosphere. Read more
There is a good reason why Ambition has such a strong following and is the go-to spot for so many people living, working and... visiting in Schenectady. Their home fries are 5 stars and they have a large breakfast menu that is great. But their dinneroptions are NEXT LEVEL! The fact that their tiny kitchen can consistently put out such incredible food is amazing. Now, the onlysad part is they don't always offer dinner, it's usually just for Proctors shows. But wow, if you get a chance to come fordinner, cancel all your other plans and come here. Fresh, delicious food from appetizers, through their huge main courseportions and great deserts. This place is adorably kitschy. The from the eclectic wall decor to the fun menu naming, it is a great place for a drink and... relaxing meal. The staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Bluffin' With my Muffinsandwich (not pictured), the pretzel bun was so soft and not too dense as some can be. My daughter ordered the Avocado Toastand declared it to be the best she has ever had, she was so impressed y the squeeze of lemon and sprouts (she lives in LongIsland and has A.T. often) I had the eggs Benedict special and it was clear that it was made with love. The ham was deliciousthe hollandaise sauce was not gloopy and the home fries were well seasoned and actually crispy. I also had the hot chocolateand it was chocolatey deliciousness. The only negative about the place, my husband said the bathroom was reminiscent of a divebar bathroom but I am not deducting any points because everything else was perfect. Read more
