They make subs the way subs are supposed to be made, not like in the chain stores! Fresh rolls, not hard, made to nk order.

The last few times I was there I was disappointed. Little meat, dry sub roll. I know that every place has its off days so I gave... them a third try after two disappointments. I asked for extra turkey on my sub, because I knew that their subs had been good,but not the meatiest. I was charged $10+ which wouldn?t have been a problem had there been meat of fair portion. When I gethome, I realized that my large turkey sub was actually a sub roll with one layer of turkey breast, with that ?layer? being oneslice all the way across. One layer. I won?t be going back. Lyle's Hoagies finds a home between the offerings of the Subway chain and the better mom-n-pop sandwich shops. A good selection... of chips and beverages, but not so great on the actual subs. Not bad either. More of a "better than I could produce at home" butseriously less than DiBella's in Latham. I've found myself wanting a sub and a cup of soup at times while in this area and mytruck finds it way here so how "less than" could it be? Solid three star eatery, but if you aren't starving and can hold outdrive a little further for a better sub. The New England Clam chowder is very good though. Read more
Today we bought two subs, turkey and cheese, meatball sub, Mac and cheese, cheese and broccoli soup. I asked them to toast the... bread and melt the cheese on the meatball sub. The bread was soggy and sauce was unloved very sour flour. I guess they havebetter vold cut sandwiches than hot. The Mac and cheese was very unique and not in a good way. I didn't even finish my food andI live to eat? I Know I am only one person but try it out yourself. I will try their soup next time. Made working a DBL in a new place quite interesting w a cpl weeks ago!!! The delicious homade cheddar broccoli soup & yummy sub... which was served on a Bella Napoli Sub roll!!! Yum ????!!! Will be back again definitely with friends & family so they can enjoythemselves. Looking forward to trying more homade soups!!
