I always love a great breakfast place. I also love an amazing atmosphere and this place gave me all of that and then some! A... truly wonderful dining experience, from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was so friendly and pleasant and the managerwalked around several times to ask if we needed anything. I appreciate a warm and friendly vibe and if you visit this amazinglygreat place I hope you will feel the same! I had the pork chops & eggs, with potatoes, two eggs and it came with your choice ofpancakes or toast. I also indulged in a cappuccino which was rich and just what I needed. We are in town visiting family and came for breakfast, and I must say the food here is out of this world good. I can't say... enough about how delicious it was and the service can't be beat, we will definitely be back when in town. Also the iced coffeewas amazing and what a great place this is. I am from IN but when wanting a good brunch, or something different I always go to Chicago. Unfortunately, we do not have many... options here for a good brunch and vibe, just something unique. BUT THIS PLACE HERE, Changed the game!! It saves me the tripof going to Chicago. I come here just about every Sunday. From the amazing service, food and the vibes that are consistentlyprovided, I am a keeper! This is a hidden gem, a breakfast place that does not taste basic. They have a BAR, customized coffeedrinks that you can’t get anywhere. That is another reason why I come here. See for yourself but I had to leave this reviewfor someone who may be like myself who is in search of a good, local brunch spot. This is the place! Very nice atmosphere and service! The decor is very nice and well kept. The drinks (coffee and alcoholic) were delicious and... well made. The homemade jam was almond cherry and was good. Overall, a good experience and nice place to hangout with friendsor family. This place tends to get busy on the weekends and it’s helpful to hold your place online before you go there. Read more

We came for breakfast and had a nice meal. Good food and prompt friendly service. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was... like us, there were other mixed couples doing the same. I should’ve order a smaller dish because they give plenty of food andI couldn’t finish my steak skillet. My wife had the breakfast grilled cheese sandwich and said it was very good. Later update;they must use that restaurant cooking oil that’s a little more affordable but not necessarily better quality. While it has asomewhat buttery flavor, it’s not real butter or olive or avocado oil. My potatoes were cooked in it and while it tasted good,it also went through my system quickly and a bathroom visit was in order. Because of that, I reduced the rating to 3 stars. Read more
Food was great and ambiance was even better! My husband and I sat there a while after breakfast and enjoyed a nice chat and... coffee. I’m not really a coffee drinker but I had a taste for it so the waitress recommend I try TJs cappuccino with only oneshot of espresso. I would definitely order this again. This is by far one of my favorite Northwest Indiana breakfast spots. Make sure to make time to wait to be seated on the... weekend. It is quite busy before noon. I am never disappointed with the toast and jam appetizer. It is simply amazing. Justbe careful with it, because you won’t have much room for your breakfast when it’s brought to your table.
