I was driving from Los Angeles to Houston with my 8 year old daughter in the car. Her first long trip and she was very anxious.... We had been on the road over 15 hours trying to get to our Houston destination. It was close to 1130 pm and we pulled into theonly thing open in town in hopes of coffee and and burger to finish the drive. We got to the window and the employee asked howwe were and was completing the transaction. Upon telling him our story he said he would unlock the doors and let us in to restif we would like. We did not take him up on it but Whataburger, whata experience!!!! We do not have any locations inCalifornia, but for the rest of our lives we will always think of Whataburger with a smile and a wink. Amazing AMAZINGexperience!!! Read more
Stopped in otw to Conroe TX. Ordered 4 burgers, went to the restroom (#1) came out and here came a mngr with my order. No... exaggeration that was the fastest most efficient service I've ever received at a chain. Well done crew. Well done. I am a GM ofa restaurant and own a food truck. Very impressed. As much as I love whataburger, this location didn't do their best this day. They didn't confirm if I was a rewards member when... ordering (and I made multiple orders) and when I asked for a #5 they didn't only charged me for the burger and fry. When I askedfor my cup I was told I would have to be charged for the drink (I think he only said that because the manager was close by andhe didn't want to admit to messing up). The best part of this location was the gentleman that brought out our food. He was theonly courteous and looked to make sure customers were satisfied with what they needed. Read more

Very nice and respectful crew. I got stranded there waiting on my ride coming from San Antonio (really bad accident on their... way) Even though I did purchase food, they did not treat me as if I was a bum or anything. This restaurant has easy access to visit off the highway. The tomatoes were not ripe and the lettuce wasn?t crisp, but the... burgers are as big as your face. The holiday decor was festive! Read more
