On a overly warm day in November (70 degrees), decided to stop by a landmark location in Union County NJ. The Stage House Tavern... has been around since the 1700s as a meeting place and still around. Has a fairly good menu and weather permitting, outsidedining. I tried the breaded chicken cutlet (thin) with Vodka sauce over spinach fettuccine and my wife had the Cobb salad withgrilled chicken. Both were very good ????. Read more

I've been to all three locations Somerset, Mountainside and last but not least Scotch Plains. The consistency is there although... three different locations. Although the buildings are different in layout and design the food, drinks and staff pretty muchprovide the same high quality standard. The drinks were excellent but mixed emotions about the food meaning my buffalocauliflower appetizer was excellent but my penne vodka pasta was bland and lacked flavor with a non-traditional noodlesubstitute. However, overall it's great place to enjoy yourself and share laughs with friends and family, the more the merrierbecause they are able to accommodate practicly any size crowd. Kudos to everyone involved and keep up the great work. I'll beback. Read more

A nice establishment with a following. They have indoor and outdoor seating with vintage bars. This night the vibe was outside... so much we had to be seated indoors. We had a swiss burger with mushrooms and grilled onions. The other entree was the CrustedParmesan Chicken with fettuccine. The burger was cooked perfectly, while the chicken had a nice crunch when eaten. A goodselection of food and beers. They do have plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable and service was professional and courteous. Read more

Was not worth the hype. To me it just felt like a over priced pub in a nice looking house. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich I... got was not spicy nor crispy. They make really good wings. Very crispy and the sauce is great The bar outside looks like itwould be fun on a Saturday Read more

Service was great from putting in our name for a table to our waitress and bartender everyone was super friendly. There was live... music playing and it was a beautiful night so we grabbed a seat on the patio. We got onion soup, spinach dip the scallops andpork chop everything was really good and the prices were fair. Had a few drinks and a good meal with a great atmosphere. Will begoing back Read more

Service was excellent and the food was very good. I had the grilled jumbo shrimp with baby yukon potatoes and broccoli robe.... Shrimp were seasoned well with a hint of spicy, grilled to perfection. The potatoes were just right. Presentation of the mealwas exquisite. The cost of this dish was $24.95. I would definitely recommend this establishment for a meal or a specialoccasion. Read more
