20% gratuity included on dinner for 2. Beware of the fine print that says it ?may? be included. It is definitely included. Took... forever 2 get our order taken and then didn?t get our water/drinks refilled until we were leaving. All fine until you impose amandatory $10 tip on 2 sushi roles which by the way have increased in price by 10%. 0 Stars. Here are a few reasons. Averagesushi roll is 3 dollars more than any other sushi place in the area. Mr Wasabi is a much nicer place with much better prices andno mandatory tip. I asked that they let me adjust the tip and they said, no. Even after I stated that I would not go back ifthey enforced the tip. My wife went in a few weeks ago for take out and she waited 20 minutes before being helped and thendidn?t get her food until 45 minutes total. This was on her lunch break from work. They have signs up that prices are going updue to costs but no other places in the area have increased prices or decreased serving sizes. This is a neighborhood place. Great Asian Fusion food. And the prices are reasonable. Many years ago this location was a Chinese buffet. Back then it was an... okay B rated eatery. (i still remember the Chinese beer). When it became Jade Bistro it became the best sit-down restaurant in12302. There is a good reason it is so busy! Negatives: The table service during the meal can be spotty ? but the seating isprompt as possible. Overall, who cares. The kitchen has remained consistently great even while the front end strugglessometimes. I think new staff of late has improved this, but you should expect only to be: seated, order taken, served your foodand presented the bill. If you want a new drink, expect to need to flag a table waiter which is not hard to do. Read more
Food is great. However, despite only a few tables being occupied during lunch, service was painfully slow. 20 min to get water.... Server seemed annoyed in general, no pleasantries. Order was wrong when delivered to the table. Asked for chopsticks, shedropped them on the table despite my hand being out to take them. No follow up as to if we needed anything. No water refills. Had to request the check. Again, server seemed annoyed. Due to her (she's been grumpy at prior visits), unlikely to come backto dine in. Likely to do take out or find another restaurant. Read more
I've been to this restaurant 20+ times. They have a great menu selection, as well as drink selections. My favorite by far is the... sushi. The chefs are extremely talented and the sushi is always presented in a beautiful way that makes you snap a picture of itevery single time. My favorite sushi roll is the Sunset Blvd roll (it has mango in it!). The wait staff is attentive and veryfriendly. Read more
The sushi is out of this world and Super fresh?? Staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Food was delivered... promptly and you could tell it was made with love. An absolutely amazing dinner experience with ALL the styles of Asian cuisine you could ask for. The Angry Bird roll was... impressive as was the chicken Thai stir fry. Mojito and Mai Tai were mixed perfectly. Would go again and again. Read more
I've gone past this place so many times. Little did i know how fantastic the food here is. At first I was amazed at how big the... place was, and we were able to get a seat right away on a Sunday evening about 7pm. The front end staff are all really nice andaccommodating. The tables were clean and nicely set up. Each place setting had a napkin and a fork, and I was surprised thatthey didn't have chop sticks already laid out, but they did bring out an additional serving plate with chopsticks ???? rightbefore the appetizers came out. We ended up ordering the Crab Rangoon and Jade Dumplings . While the Crab Rangoon was ok, theJade Dumplings were fantastic, I'm definitely ordering those again. For entrees we ordered a Dragon Roll, and Chicken MushroomCasserole. Both of these dishes were great! The staff were really quick about refilling your drink and making sure everythingwas enjoyable.
