This guy has the worst customer service. I am surprised he is still in business. Food is great but his approach is all wrong. ... I am sure a will get a lot of negativity from this post but in my opinion if you want to call in a order fine. If not you shouldstill be nice to your customer. But, when you are new and have not orderd from this establishment before you could at least askinstead of blasting off to my wife that she should have called in the order. That and making her feel terrible about notcalling it in. You need to put an online order link on your website as I just looked it up. Anyway. Just based on the firstexperince in treatment we will not order again. I have been in retail for over 32 years and understand the changes that thepandimic had put on us all. Visited the location with my son. A coworker shared her negative experience prior to me showing up but I've visited before, so I... thought maybe the person assisting her had a bad day, which showed in the service she received. I walked in and was not greetedbut asked if I had a call in or needed to order. Then the individuals walking in behind me was greeted with the same. Iproceeded walking forward because eventhough I had not called in my order, I knew what I was ordering. The owner turned aroundand assisted the cook with orders taken prior to me walking in, then rudely turned back to the lobby and asked was any of usknew what we wanted. I ordered and before even swiping my card, he proceeded to take the order of the customer behind me. I washanded my receipt and told it would be 20 minutes. While waiting another customer waiting with us stood around as she waited andbefore handing her her order he mentioned that if she had called in her order she would not have had to wait as long. But it wassaid in a tone of annoyance and not informative to the customer. I will likely not return based off of the customer service Iexperienced from the business. If the owner acts this way with his customers there is no hope for the rest of his staff. Read more
Our first time visiting this restaurant, it did not disappoint. We had the dice ham potato and the ground beef potato. The food... was delicious and we will be back soon. If you are passing through Scott give it a shot. Read more
My husband and I use to be avid customers, the owner was so humble and kind. He would give you suggestions and let you take your... time. We loved this place and probably ate here once a week. However I went there recently with my friend for the first time andthe humble kind attitude was no longer there, we felt rushed, and uncomfortable, like we were a burden. It was verydisappointing ???? from a once very respected place in my book. Update that response, just shows how rude he's become. I thinkits evident upon walking in that its not a dining establishment, hence the fact people were eating outside in this muggyweather. You had a woman that joined me that had never been, she was just standing aside from everyone else NOT IN LINE, lookingover the menu, and you were extremely rude and condescending like you're being now. If you're in the Scott area or Southside of Lafayette this is a must try! More potatoes than you can imagine and they're all... amazing! We've been eating here for years, and have grown to love alot of the diverse menu. The owner Jerry is very welcomingand his staff is second to none.
