Even though work was on going, the decor was eye catching and fresh for the area. The booths were very comfortable and... welcoming. The food was brought out unevenly, with my dates food coming out before mine. BUT, I would not hold this againstanyone since the staff was clearly still being trained and were a little rough, yet very polite and positive. The food wasbrought out in baskets, which personally I find as acceptable since burgers and onion rings was all that was ordered. The tastewas exceptional. Food was hot and juicy, with the meat cooked perfectly and the onion rings crisp and tasty. The selection ofburgers adds a dynamic and interest to try new combinations. I'd actually give it 3-1/2 stars. Food was good. I think some of the staff need better training. 1st time I visited I was told... 25 - 30 min wait. It was busy, so I understood. The problem was, the hostess staff weren't properly trained & they were messingup times altogether. I ended up waiting an hour. Wasn't happy about that. The assistant manager even told the girls they neededto pay better attention to what they were doing. My wife spoke with the assistant manager & we were seated immediately. 2nd timethe food again was good. Seated immediately, got in just before the rush. I realize it's only been open for short time but Ifeel they have somethings they could improve upon. All in all for a glorified burger joint, it's a good place to eat. We really, really loved the vibe of this place! The host and server were both exceptional- very friendly, welcoming and helpful.... The food was really good - love the variety on the menu! The burger (Kentucky Bourbon) was well cooked and flavorful - loved howbacony it was! The BLTA was also good - bacon was spicy and sweet, very nice. We also ordered the chips and pretzels appetizerand the cheeses were excellent. They have 35 beers, so if craft beer is your thing, this is a place to try! The mimosa washonestly a little weird - not sure whats in it. Not bad but not what i expected. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was thesize of the appetizer. I?ve ate here twice since it?s been open and it?s been so good. I?m so glad we got a restaurant like this in Scottsburg, the... chuck Norris burger and the flip stix are amazing! Went early evening n a Tuesday. Seated right away. Service was good. Burger was good. We got chips instead of fries and the... sweet tea was very good. Restaurant was very clean and nicely remodeled. Only thing I would really change would be Fox News onone of the TVs. Read more
