Ajo Al's is our absolute favorite for Mexican food. My husband loves the machaca chimi w/brown sauce and I get flautas, fajitas... or enchiladas usually. Went for happy hour, service was great, food was delicious. Lovely Margaritas, good chips & salsa. They also have this Mexican... Pizza chicken which was delicious & flavorful. Also had the chicken chimichanga, they were delicious with the queso dip weordered. Also good with the dip that was on the plate. Plus the lettuce side with chimichanga was great. Queso was verydifferent than what I'm use to in Texas, though it didn't disappoint silky & good flavor. Think it also had spinach in it, whichI love. We had a great time. Will go back again. !!Update 9-9-2022!! Everything- The service, food, and beverages were exceptional this evening. Our server, Laura, was very... sweet, thoughtful, and prompt! She?s was also truly amazing with our 5 year old granddaughter! As for recommending to friends &family,.. We always do, and already did again right after we left dinner! - 1st review on Google - Excellent service and foodonce again!! HOSTESS, PAULO our server - (whom we requested and waited for a table to hang out with again, for this eveningsvisit!),.. and RICHIE the bartender took great care of all of us as usual!! Richie makes great Margarita?s, is very fun &helpful!! He really keeps busy, as do the rest of this amazing staff!! I finally stepped away from my usuals to try some newitems! Go me!! We?d been longing for so many new dishes and this evening I ordered the CHICKEN & STEAK FAJITAS! Too many wordscome to mind, but I can say that both are seasoned and cooked perfectly!! The steak is so scrumptious, I had to just eat piecesof it without making a fajita! Ha! The chicken is also grilled perfectly and I had to indulge in that as well! Added some freshmade guacamole to some bites and that?s how I finished my meal! Of course - The fresh house-made tortillas are awesome aswell!! Tortilla choices are Flour & Corn, yum!! There really is nothing like fresh made tortillas!!!! We ordered a Potato Tacofinally also, and it was very good! Perfectly cooked! Little sweet for me, but VERY tasty! Ordered pollo con queso with calabacitas. I never had calabacitas and it was a great side dish in lieu of the typical rice and... beans. Great food, exceptional service, and great place for lunch at a reasonable price. Read more
Used to work right by here and enjoyed the place frequently, but I finally got to take my wife so she could experience the food.... Neither of us were disappointed. It's nice to know that they've been able to stay consistent with quality of their food andtheir service. P. S. Ask for the hot sauce for the chips and salsa. Read more
First visit to this location, was close by and thought I'd give it a try for Happy Hour. Good deals, see menu. Chips and Salsa... are good. Chili con Queso was very watery and filled with too many red bell peppers (A disappointment side the Queso was thebest at the Shea location). The mini Chicken Chimichangas were terribly greasy. Service was good and the place was fairly busy,especially the Outdoor Patio-- was full. The restaurant was quite dark inside and out. Positive: they have an outside patio, notso positive: it's right at the entrance. Parking is tight, but there's a good amount. I will stick with the Shea location. Butgive it a try, you might just like it at this location. Read more
