The interior really captures the culture and history of Scottsdale AZ. THE FOOD IS CALSSIC AZ "MEXICAN." I would really call it... Sonoran. I've been eating here since the 80's but haven't been for some time. The interior is new to me which may not be new butthe point is that they have kept the restaurant nice and are not resting on reputation. The food and service were great. We hada Mexican pizza and Pollo con Queso to share. Neither of these items are likely to be found in Mexico but as a Phoenix native Iwould argue that both are authentic Sonoran food. Read more
The food was delicious with generous portions. Service was excellent. The margaritas were great. My only negative would be... the red enchilada sauce. It was a bit dark and the taste somewhat overpowering. Next time I'll try the green enchilada saucefor comparison. We will definitely be back for dinner in the future. Read more

Loved the Shrimp Fajitas, very flavorful, good size Shrimp and lots of fresh bell peppers (red, yellow, and green) and onions.... Refried beans looked old or maybe too much animal fat??, tasted ok. Guac was a bit old, but ok. Marissa did a fantastic jobserving a full dining room!???? Will be back and you should check this place out! I got one of the potato and while it was tasty, it too was dry inside and overly greasy outside- tasted more like a donut.I subbed a salad for the beans and rice and it's a nice size, but wasn't very fresh today.... there's a burnt smell in therestaurant too! Not very appetizing. The chips were also very well done, brown! Idk what's going on but was kinda disappointedin today's visit. Hopefully just an off day! I still recommend this place.???? Read more
Stopped in for a quick bite on our way home, and of course - Dinner was fresh made to order and absolutely delicious!! Also,... HUGE PROPS to whomever made the salsa for last nights dinner!! It was perfection, not too spicy, but spicy enough! We couldn?tget enough of it!!!! I ordered a house margarita on the rocks, with TAJIN,.. I just LOVE their house mix,.. and with the TAJIN- WOW!!!! It?s such a great time when hearing how much fun the kitchen has when you arrive about an hour before closing, whenit?s quieter in the restaurant. Yay! Don?t forget to get their awesome rewards app!! Fantastic food and great portions! Had the prickly pear margarita and fajitas while the wife had a strawberry margarita and... potato tacos (soooo good!). Their waffle fries were a favorite with the kids (and us grown ups too :p) Made the drive fromBuckeye to try this place and weren't disappointed. Will definitely be back! Read more
Good atmosphere. I asked for no onions in my taco salad as I don't like the taste, but still recieved them. The lettuce was... whole and wilting on some of the leaves. The salad didnt look to appealing probably due to the shredded beef that looked likemush. Not impressed with the food for the price. And the decorations on the table have trash in them... Read more
