Came in for my sisters birthday. The air vent in the waiting area above the restrooms is absolutely disgusting!! We had to wait... for 40 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Other than that the experience was good, great food but they need to workon cleaning. If it looks this bad in guests view how do the areas we can’t see look? Very grossed out. Read more
It was a fun experience - this should just be coined the birthday place. I mean there were about 8 birthday celebrations while I... enjoyed mine. Heard about a birthday coupon but need to sign up online to receive which will get you $30 off the bill accordingto the server. The kids had fun experiencing the chef cook things up - menu had many choices to choose. I suggested moreflavoring/seasoning for my surf and turf but it was solid. This place is always fun and entertaining. We always choose to sit for the teppanyaki grill. Entertainment is always an ice... breaker especially when sitting with strangers. The very first time I ate at benihana's was in California during a school tripback in 1999. I was impressed with all the celebrities on their wall. I thought wow how cool would it be to see a celebritywhile I was dining there but no such luck. The next time I dined at Benihana's was in Las Vegas. The ambiance and thedecorations was eye-catching and I remember using a flash disposable camera to take pictures. Hahaha ... I should dig these picsup and share them here. Awe the memories. We had a chef that was new to the grill and shared his story that he started out ad adishwasher, then prep, and then line cook and now he's on the floor cooking for customers. We clapped for him and we wished himthe best as he continues to gain experience. He does have dreams but I will keep them to myself because saying something mightcause a problem for him. I will respect him this way because I want him to succeed. I dine here maybe 3 times a year ... onefor my birthday ???? because they offer a birthday coupon. The other 2 is unplanned with friends or just because. Lunch wasdelicious ????. I ordered from the lunch menu. I have never been to Benihana before. We went to have dinner with some friends for a birthday thing and the best way I can... describe it was, this meal was a whole experience! The service was great. Devin was our server and he was on point. Our chef was Antonio and he did a fantastic job. The food was... generally good but not great. The building has some areas that se neglected from being cleaned like the bathroom sinks and thetops of the pony walls(grime on sinks and dust on tops of walls).
