I should have written this review much earlier but better late than never. Came here with my family on Mother’s Day of all... days. The restaurant was practically empty. Waited for about 10 minutes for a hostess I kid you not. Employees saw us butignored. When the waitress finally decided to show up and grace is with her presence, she didn’t even bother saying hello oreven smiling. Nice way to start. Waited for our food FOREVER for 3 people, had to even remind them several times. The portionswere small, the ratio of mashed potatoes the steak was a complete joke, and by the time I was half way done with my filletmignon, the mashed potatoes were finished. Same thing with my husband’s dish. Potatoes are cheap vegetables, so why so stingyon the potatoes Chart House?? Desert was good and that was the only highlight and only reason for one star. You would think theywould go the extra mile to treat families better on Mother’s Day, but it was the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever hadon this holiday of all the years spent celebrating it. My husband made reservations for our anniversary. The food was very good. I ordered the chimichurri steak & shrimp and it was... lovely. My husband ordered the prime rib, but 20 minutes or so later was told that they would likely run out of it, so that wasa bummer. It didn't take long to get seated after arrival, however, my husband specified that he wanted a table with a view ofthe lake, due to the special occasion, and his request was not honored despite him being told it would. We also ordered anappetizer that never came, so that was disappointing as well. Service was a bit slow, likely due to every place being shortstaffed, but nothing unreasonable. View, view, view oh and great food! Fantastic views, great service and the food is excellent. I had a NY steak, wife had Prime... Rib...both most excellent. Added mushrooms on the side, yummy. Solid pour on the drinks and very attentive service. It's notcheap, but wel on par with the level of food, service and views. Wish we had room for the famous mud pie ????. Another time forsure!? Went for the view and scenery, stayed for the food! Amazing views on the water, wish they would put more into outside seating... with a patio and mist system…they had a small patio but not open. View from inside was still nice Service was excellent. Themargaritas were excellent, food was excellent. Booths are extremely difficult ingress/egress due to fixed table that won’tmove and is too large. Read more
The ambience and view here are beautiful especially for the holidays. The Kimchi Calamari was absolutely delicious. The entrees... were just ok, bedsides the prime rib. All of the sides seems like they were probably made en mass & then plated out of a buffettray. Service was very friendly and fast. I was impressed that that they had a good alcohol free mocktail menu. Read more
