Our ladies group had breakfast here at the DC Ranch location for the second time. 12 of us and we could not have been happier.... What a wonderful welcoming eatery. We had made our reservation ahead of time and arrived to find our server ALEX had all theplaces set, water and menus in place. He took the drink orders as each person arrive. He was very attentive and answered everyrequest with a pleasant response. The food arrived quickly and for 12 orders it was amazing that the kitchen staff sent them outone right after the other. Expected a bit more here, especially with the positive reviews. Came here for the first time. A couple of us ordered breakfast... while the others ordered burgers. There were only a couple other people in the restaurant, not busy at all. Waited 10+ minutesto be greeted and place drink orders. Then another 15 minutes to place or order. We weren?t in any rush but it felt superslow. Food arrived and the portions were big. My friends said the burgers were pretty dry and over cooked. Two of them ordereda Mable Bacon burger and it looked drenched in syrup (bread included). Super sticky. The other ordered the meatless burger andsaid it had no taste. In terms of breakfast, I thought it was filling. Some of the food was kind of dry and salty but it wasgood. I thought it was a bit overpriced compared to some other specialty breakfast places in the Scottsdale area. The servicecould be improved upon as a whole. Read more
Calling all pancake lovers! This place offers excellent options. Do you like specialty pancakes? They have several. Would you... like to add pancakes to your omelette order without having to ask for favors or go off menu? No problem because you can addpancakes to any of their dishes at no extra cost. Amazing! Their menu is very extensive and so many wonderful choices. We had the potato purée, the breakfast burrito and the... barbacoa omelette. All was very delicious. The barbacoa and breakfast burrito were just the right amazing of spicy. To top itoff the waiter was so nice and friendly! Very quick service and helpful! And they?re pancakes are delicious. We had the redvelvet and pumpkin cheesecake. The pumpkin was so moist. It was like eating pumpkin pie. Read more
Stopped in for brunch after a round of golf at Greyhawk. It was delightful! They have fresh squeezed orange juice! I recommend... getting a glass of that or getting a mimosa! The portions are huge! This is a difficult review for me as its a 50/50 situation. Lets start an upbeat item, the food .... Wonderful from the first... bite to the last! The management says they use only, all natural, locally sourced food and ingredients. If you like the ideaof "locally sourced" and all natural, this is the spot for you! The staff is awesome as well. Friendly and attentive withoutbeing disruptive. That works for me. So lets take a peek at the not so good things ...... They keep the doors open (after all,this fall weather is awesome) which is nice, but we had several flies swarming around our plates and that makes me crazy! Welike to cuddle up to the bar but this bar seats about 6 people so forget about going here for happy hour. Lastly, the barchairs that even I couldn't get seated and by the way, I'm 6'-1" tall. The bar chairs are not only to tall but withoutexception, they are the most uncomfortable bar stools I've ever sat in. Good breakfast. The food itself is good and the drinks are pretty good. It is one of those places where you will have fun the... first time but then when you come back maybe not as much fun. The Bloody Mary is a perfect example of this - where the photosof the Bloody Mary are probably great for Instagram but if you are going to come back a few times you will get annoyed by theChocolate covered bacon and the gummy eggs they put in the Bloody Mary. It would be great to have a menu for those that aretourist and a menu for regulars. Overall a good experience though and the food is good. Read more
