Reviews for Grassroots Kitchen & Tap - Scottsdale in Scottsdale, AZ
Excellent food and atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and very prompt. You're looking at about $20-30 a plate, but good... food is easily worth that price. Read more
Brutal experience all around. Waiter didn't show up for 15 minutes. Manager came by and offered free app. We wanted the $6... special bread, hey, must be good for that price. Bread came, 2 day old crusty looking that wasn't crusty, microwaved untilrubber. By the end of the meal, it was dangerously hard. So the free bread was the highlight of the experience. The waiterturned out to be a man bun stoned space cadet. No judgment, he was another highlight. Short rib entree was dry and tasteless. The grits were closer to mashed potatoes than any sort of grain. Drinks were nicely watered down and unpleasurable. We satoutside on the quiet, wait no not quiet, patio along the highway. Beautiful plastic between us diffused the red brake lights.Twilight zone experience. Written too much, way more to share, but suffice to say only attend this venue for high pricedentertainment. Great spot! We were looking for a nice sit down restaurant for lunch and someone recommended this about 10 ride from where we... are staying at the W. Loaded with flavors its like a real good home cooked meal. The photos dont do it justice Read more

The appetizer sliders were so good I almost don't want to talk about anything else. I mean, the food was all good and everyone... enjoyed themselves- but those sliders... wow. I personally had short rib, Asparagus and the baked potato. Everything was hotand cooked perfectly. Our server was on the ball and our drinks were never empty. We will definitely return. Read more
Ohh my!! The service and food was outstanding here! I loved the easy atmosphere but also the food was amazing! We had cocktails... to start with - I had the special which was some lavender twist on a martini, which was soooo good! We got a warm bread basketwhile we looked at the menu and it came with oil, herbs and butter so we were both happy. I had the pork chop - it was amazing! The only thing I didn’t like or expect was string fries - Rosti would have accompanied this dish better :) We shared achocolate toffee Brownie - I wish I had kept it to myself because all those mixed tastes of sea salt, vanilla and greatGhirardelli chocolate just exploded my taste buds! The fact that this is “farm to table” all fresh food is testament as towhy it tastes so good - we are going to make this a regular place to go so we can try everything they do lol. GO EAT HERE! - YOUWONT BE DISAPPOINTED ;) Read more
Loved the spinach artichoke dips! The red peppers were a tad spicy for us but we are a bit pathetic. The large Caesar salad was... delicious and we split it for two people. The croutons were so fresh. We also split the Chicken BLT! We will definitely be back.Great service as well. Read more
If only we could give more than 5 stars. This place is tremendous and special. We had the house-smoked salmon, ahi tuna steaks,... and beef brisket. For dessert we had the special pumpkin pie that had a wonderfully dense texture, set on a gingersnap crust andtopped with cinnamon whipped cream. Everything was delicious, service was great, and we look forward to coming back again! Read more
