The taste is acceptable, but the dipping is really bad. The service staff is still very good! The price is slightly more... expensive, generally in Az, and Japanese food is like this. Read more

When there's a line of people waiting for a place is open, you know you're onto something. It's great to hear Japanese spoken in... a Japanese restaurant. The sushi here was top-notch and despite being very busy the service was excellent. This is a smallrestaurant, so it is a bit crowded, but the food overall atmosphere is worth it. For the quality of the food the prices arevery reasonable. And of course, we very much love sushi so we ate quite a bit of it :-) Oh, I just wanted to mention, the chefwas very generous with that pistachio ice cream :-) Read more

First time I ordered from here; and thankfully the food did not disappoint; will definitely come back. Hiro roll is good!

Absolutely impeccable service and presentation. Almost every dish was prepared in front of us by a single chef. It was intimate... in all the right ways. Top recommendations include the crunchy spicy tuna (pictured) - served first - and the mushroom soup -served last. Read more

This is our second visit to this wonderful restaurant! We were here over the summer and decided to return to Scottsdale for... Thanksgiving break! It may be a small eatery but the service is quick and friendly. We are always on the hunt for delicious andfresh chirashi. Hiro sushi did not disappoint. We loved their agedashi tofu, the baby octopus, and also their tempura. The sushirice has so much flavor! We will definitely come back again for our next visit. Read more

Always delicious and fresh at Hiro! No reservations so first come first serve. Get there early and shop at the florist boutique... next door for cute gifts before they open! This was the omakase and the fried octopus legs we ordered separately. Read more
