Jade Palace has been here for a long time. After the covid pandemic, it changed hands. There are quite a few changes. ... Previously, the menu was extensive and impressive. The servers were all chinese. and the ambiance was quiet and pleasant. Thenew Jade Palace has a much smaller menu. A few of the old favorites are still there. Maybe the cooks are the same as before --not sure. The servers are all new and really not very knowledgeable about the food. The biggest change is that the prices havegone up dramatically. The food is a reasonable rendition of cantonese. They removed the wall paper (which was on upside downanyway). Read more
Very tasty Chinese food here. Sting beans are tender and delicious. Hot and sour soup is highly recommended.
Stopped by with a couple of friends for the first time and was pretty impressed. The place was super tidy, the waitress was very... friendly/helpful & the food was great! I ordered the pepper chicken and it had lots of flavor with the brown sauce. I've drivenby this place many times and finally got a chance to stop in. Will be back for more! Thank you! Read more
This place is horrible. We ordered Tsingtao beer which taste really flat then we noticed it is expired over 3 month ago. Okay... we understand maybe no one really checked the expiration day . The worse thing is when they served rice we found a black bug inthe rice. It totally ruined the dinner ! The restaurant looks nice inside. It is so shame the poor quality of the food and the service ! Also we waited for long time for them to hand the bill . overall, It was an horrible experience of there . It is shame! Read more
This place used to be great but has been going downhill. After my last order it's now out of my rotation. Over the last 6... months they've raised the prices on everything (they were overpriced beforehand) and cut the portions. The take-out bins usedto be full. Tonight it was maybe half full. It was ridiculous for an entree that they're now charging over $20 for. Read more
Definitely high end great Chinese restaurant. I especially like the the eggplant appetizer and eggplant main dish. Excellent... service and nice ambience. But I would not call it best Chinese restaurant in town. There are more authentic restaurantsaround. All the diners at this restaurant were Caucasian senior citizens, except us when we dined. Stayed in the area for 4 nights and Jade Palace was SO good we went back twice! Grew up on amazing Chinese food in NY and this... is the closest I've come to the quality and taste outside of NY in 20 years. Plus, the staff was AMAZING. Can't wait to visitthe area again just to go back to Jade Palace! Read more
