Done eating at jade palace. Open at 2, no lunch combo anymore,only very high Al la carte dinner prices. A ripoff. Soup cold... every time. This restaurant is going down soon. Too bad. U used to be reasonable. No more. Will continue to loose customers,will spread all this trend by word of mouth. Lots of reasonable and good Chinese all around. Read more
Sarah, Hugh, Devlin! The gang is all there!! What a fantastic menu and atmosphere they have created! It never gets old! If you... haven’t tried it out, head over—you will be so impressed. I recommend the shrimp stuffed eggplant appetizer, Peking duck,orange chicken and fried rice!! Don’t forget to end the meal with the orange sorbet and pair with a nice wine!! Read more
Very strange I wrote a review about a week ago which is not there anymore. I had a horrible experience there . We ordered... Tsingtao beer which tasted flat . Then we saw it was expired 3 month ago ! After they served rice we found a black bug insidethere ! It is so disgusting place . But unfortunately it looks nice . But it is NOT . I really hope the one star review wouldstay ! Spent $115 for take out from the Pinnacle Peak location. My have they raised prices. Chicken with broccoli, pepper steak,... chicken with vegetables, beef and broccoli all $20 each. As other people mentioned there was very little chicken or beef inany of the entrees. Even the appetizers were subpar, overly greasy egg rolls and spring rolls with what appears to be onlylettuce inside. Low quantity and high prices were not what I expected since I have been going to this restaurant for so manyyears. Lately I've noticed this trend here but it was never to this extent. Was told about Jade Palace by our friends as we are somewhat new to this area. We were seated right away without hesitation & a... reservation. I had heard the egg rolls were phenomenal & they did not disappoint! Beware; the hot mustard was HOT! Good thing weopted for drinking iced tea on such a hot evening!!. Our server was so helpful to me by suggesting the Double Dragon which is acombination of Grand Marnier Shrimp & Pungent/Sweet Shrimp! It was Devine! I have enough for another meal! My husband had theKung Pao and he mentioned that the KP was the closest he’s ever had since being on a business trip to China in mid-90’s! We were honored to be invited to a friend's mom's birthday dinner last night for an 8 course tasting menu. The food was amazing... and each course was somehow better than the last. Chef Devlen came out before each plate to explain to us the flavors and how itwas crafted. We really enjoyed the company and the discussion over 3 hours... and of course the lychee martinis! We ordered take out. Spent $81 for 3 entrees, soup and fried rice! Did get the Mongolian Beef. Upon opening it wife and I... commented, "Where is the beef?" It had a huge amount of onions in it. Food was very bland with very little flavor. Portions werelarge. However food is way over priced. We were very disappointed in the lack of flavor. The war won ton soup was dumped downthe disposal. 3 family members tried a portion from the entrees. The wife took several bites and threw rest in garbage. My sonand I finished our single plate but didn't want seconds. There was enough leftover for a meal tomorrow but it went into thetrash too. We were still hungry so I ordered take out from Pei Wei that tasted better. We will not go back to Jade Palace. Ifyou want really good Chinese try Flo's! Read more
Thank you for making our 20 year anniversary special and what outstanding food and the lemon cake and orange sherbert desert was... fantastic, hope it stays on the menu . Our server was remarkable. Very attention to detail. Shrimp and lobster sauce was thebest we have had in Arizona! See ya soon Read more
