The experience at Kasai was very good. Hibachi style and a pretty cool chef. They do their usual entertainment with the onion on... fire and smoking, light the grill up before cooking, break the eggs for the fried rice. Definitely enjoyable. Our server wascool, helped us with a few menu questions since we hadn't been there before. We had the tuna poke tower and the crab and shrimpdip. Both were phenomenal. We shared tuna and scallops as our main meals and they were cooked perfectly. Everything tastedgreat. The restaurant is super cool and everyone was very friendly. Definitely will go back again. Just WOW!!! What a great spot! 4.5 stars is insufficient! This place was great! Good and a show! Got the fillet and... wasn’t able to finish all the food that came with it! I love Kasai. Absolutely delicious sushi. We did not eat at the entertainment table. Instead, made a reservation for just... dinner. Some of the best sushi is served here. Very fresh, tender, the salmon was like butter. The also make a great filthymartini. This was our second time in Scottsdale and our second time to Kasai. It is a MUST! Read more

My daughter and I came to Kasai during happy hour to eat dinner before a movie. We made reservations for their "Teppanyaki fire... show" it was my daughters first time eating at a place like this. She is 15 and thought it was really neat!! The food wasdelicious (we ordered shrimp and chicken) & our cheif was a riot to say the least lol. You start with mushroom soup, a sidesalad and then the chef comes out - grills rice, protein of your choice and fresh vegetables. I couldn't believe how inexpensiveit was as I didn't know it was happy hour. I also ordered some socki. I believe happy hour is Monday - Sunday, 3 - 6 pm. My ONLYcomplaint was the seating and it was pretty bad.. They had 12 seats at what I would say was an average teppan table. There wasplexiglass in between us and the other party of 8. When they sat down, they were squeezed in like sardines NO Joke! Luckily wemade a reservation for 4 an 2 people cancelled, so we were kind about the situation and allowed them to remove the plexiglass sothe other party could have some elbow room... this was our only disappointment... Place was great how i would have thought benihana should have been. The wow factor is there flames everywhere. Food was good i... like a little more flavor but that's just me. Drinks are delicious could have used a splash more liquor but still good. They'reable to sit 12 of us with plenty of room to be comfortable. Price wise was pricey be prepared to tip twice the chef and theserver for 2 Tepanyaki combo meals 2 cocktails a soda a beer and a las vegas roll came out to $200 both tips included $20 foreach person. Will i recommend hell yeah. Will i go back probably not its 30 minutes from me, but thats the only reason thisplace is great!!! Read more

20 years, congratulations! The place was hoping. Cooking tables looked fun. I think I’d go back for cocktails but can’t... really say for food based on what we had. The Black Cod was the best, I would eat that again but everything else was just ok(disappointed). Kristi, Katie, Luke and Chris, they were all hard working and worked great together. I’d try again. Everything was amazing….. I made reservations for our date night….. the ambiance, the waitress, even managers were checking... on us periodically, the music was of nice variety, the place was filled with guests and we still could sit at our table andenjoy our dining experience and have a wonderful time just eating, talking and having an amazing time. Our reservation was at 7pand we arrived at 6:45 and were seated immediately. We will be back for sure……. Even if I just take out some of thatdelicious sushi. Read more
