The food, drinks and service were all fabulous! One of my pet peeves is when food doesn't come out hot; that is most certainly... not the case here! My ribeye steak was still sizzling when it arrived at the table. Our party had a performance we needed toget to, and our waiter worked with the kitchen to get us to our show on time. Next time I would allow a minimum of two hours forthis dining experience. I'd also like to return for happy hour at the lounge with live music. ???? Read more
An extremely underwhelming and disappointing experience. While visiting Scottsdale for our anniversary, we wanted a top-notch... place to celebrate and sadly, Mastro’s was not the place. When making the reservation, we indicated we were celebrating ouranniversary and when the host went to seat us, they asked again if we were celebrating anything which we replied yes, ouranniversary. Our waiter wished us happy anniversary upon seating us but that was it. We were not expecting anything for free buta small acknowledgment of a little note, flower on the table, something would have been appreciated. We also arrived a bitearlier than our reservation time and would have been fine waiting for our table if needed but the host let us know they couldseat us right away. We were surprised when we went through the restaurant to a patio which had hard patio seating. The insidetables were much more elegant and comfortable looking, but we made do. We started with an appetizer of Kobe beef on the cookingstone which was excellent. All the steaks were seasoned and cooked just to our liking, but the side dishes were extremelysalty. I ordered my steak Oscar style and was extremely disappointed in the incredibly small crab portion it came with for theprice. The only positive thing was our waiter, Casey, who was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. If you arecelebrating a special occasion, I would recommend going elsewhere. Read more
Went for a birthday party! Service was extremely slow and shouldn't have been, unfortunately. My pork chop was delicious and... seasoned well once sent back and cooked thoroughly. It came out rare initially. ???? Read more
The service food atmosphere all was impeccable! This was my first time at Mastros the waiter was very informative and helpful... had some amazing recommendations. The service was absolutely incredible my water never got below a half glass. The waiterrecommended the shrimp appetizer. I got an 8 oz filet my friend got a six oz filet and we split a side of garlic mashed potatoesand asparagus. Than they brought me out this butter cake I never had any butter cake before so I was hesitant but it wasremarkable. Highly highly recommend checking our mastros! I know I’ll be back for sure! I can’t say enough good things aboutthis business!!! One last thing! They even called me the next day to ask how everything was! I never had a restaurant ever dothat! High class high quality good staff...however last time was not as good as usual. We go there every year on Valentines and this... was not as good as previous years. The steaks are usually amazing but my filet was closer to the texture and consistency of achoice strip not prime filet. Also the potatoes were so thin they became almost runny on our hot plates and had to constantlyscoop them back together as it cooled. The appetizer was great and so was dessert. Read more

This was our first time here at Mastro's, celebrating my husband's birthday with our two little girls. Our server Lisa was very... attentive and kind. She recommended the crab appetizer which was delicious. My husband ordered the bone in ribeye and I had thesalmon, and we shared the side of Mac and cheese because the portions are plenty big enough, between us and our girls. The foodwas hot and amazing! And for a momma, a hot meal is hard to come bye ????. And then she recommended the butter cake which was amelt in your mouth treat! The service and food did not disappoint at all, which for us is hard to come by, as we prefer cookingand eating at home, and are often let down by our few restaurant dining experiences.
