I have ordered take out pizza from here a couple of times but today I stopped in for lunch. I'm glad I did too. I ordered the 2... slice & a 24oz drink. My slices were hot and the crust was crispy.... Delicious ????. They are a Pepsi company and I was a bitdisappointed in the fact that they didn't offer Mtn Dew. I asked the young lady behind the counter and she told me that theychanged it to Orange Crush for the kids. Bummer! The place was clean and the decor was spot on. Every time I have been there thestaff has been beyond helpful and nice. I love this place and I wish it was closer to my home. I found that there's a locationcloser to me so I guess I will try it next time and I hope they and the pizza are as awesome as this location. So for now it'sworth the drive. Stay safe and tip big. Very close to NYC quality pizza... About 8.5/10 on a closeness scale. And yes, they use different filtered water to make their... pizza crust. Waitress brought me a sample of that water versus the regular tap and there's a definite difference. Gave them 4/5stars only because I think their price point is a tad bit much for the product. My Pizza Pal and I were in search of a good Sicilian style pizza, which isn't easy since not many pizza places in the valley... make it. I hadn't been to a NYPD Pizza in years, so I was due to pay them a visit. We ordered their full sized Sicilian pie withsausage (they offer a half-size, which is rare and a nice option, but we were planning for leftovers) and a house salad. Thesalad appeared to have been pre-assembled and refrigerated - which rendered many of the veggies limp. The pizza was a greatsurprise. It was huge, and thick and chewy - like a Sicilian pizza is supposed to be - with a good crispy crunch on the bottomof the crust. Little more dense than a lot of Sicilian pizzas I've had, but it was still a good textured crust. It had a goodtangy sauce and plenty of the very tasty Italian sausage in every bite. One of the better Sicilian pizzas I have found inPhoenix. We also ordered some Zeppolis for dessert, which came out to us piping hot and fresh. This location isn't too big, in anice location near the Airpark and shopping, very friendly staff, and a nice dinning area. Good spot the bring the family. Read more

Came here with my brother. Loved it cause it was clean and the server was nice. Got the zucchini, half only which is 4... pieces. It was good & crispy. The marinera sauce wasn?t my favorite to eat the zucchini, it tasted better in ranch. We got theupstate style wings traditional. I liked it. My brother said it?s a bit sweet. It does have a buffalo spicy flavor thou. I gotthe cheese calazone it was okay. Lots of bread. The cheese was good. The calazone tasted good with the marianera sauce. NYPD is a good "standard issue" lunch. Decent lunch specials and typically pretty fast. Today not so much- they were... disorganized behind the counter and register and upon inquiring about our order to go after several orders that went infollowing us, we were met with a snooty attitude. Food is consistently the same quality. Salads are made with iceburg or butterlettuce so the nutritional value is questionable, but the dressing is good. Can be confusing at lunch time as there are twoways to eat- sit down with table service, or order from lunch special menu at counter, however all patrons use the same diningroom. Good for ordering large quantities of pizza for corporate lunches as well. Read more
I tried half the Sicilian pizza with all beef meatballs, crispy eggplant and ricotta cheese. This was a very filling pie, but... the crust was soft and also good reheated. The garlic knots are famous and have sesame seeds....pretty addictive. Nice bartendertoo. Read more
