This place was really great. Honestly - some of the best fish I?ve ever eaten, with chefs that clearly care about and take pride... in their work (rightly so). Half way through we were convinced we would make this a regular occurrence, but that all changedupon arrival of the check. We knew the price of the food in advance, and we were prepared for the (high, in my opinion) price ofthe sake. What we were not prepared for was the $100 service charge and then ? being told that the service charge does notinclude tips for the chefs. That ended up being close to $150 extra than what we would typically pay in any other restaurant.The food and the service is great, and we were both prepared to pay premium $. However, being stung for extra charges on top ofan already expensive meal really put a downer on our night. Had a great time, but for the surprises and costs at the end I don?tthink we?ll head back any time soon. Read more

I had the pleasure of joining my business partner for a meal here. It certainly is not your standard sushi experience by any... means. The care and preparation that goes in to every dish is extraordinary. I don?t know that I?ve ever had such a meticulouslyorchestrated dining experience. This place is great but candidly I'm a little disappointed. I'm not sure if I built it up but it didn't deliver on the hype or... expectations. Having said that the experience, service, and food is superb! The service was very attentive and the environmentis intimate - so much so, you become self-concious of your conversation because everyone can hear you. The ingredients areextremely fresh and out together nicely for unique tastes. However, for a tasting menu, it leaves you wanting to go get a burgerafterwards because the fare is so light (which could be a good thing depending on who you are). Personally if I'm throwing downthat much for dinner, I don't want to feel like I need to go buy more dinner lol. I'd still recommend giving it a shot if youlike omakase but I've had much better in other states so adjust your expectations accordingly. Read more
Great service and wonderful experience. The fish and food was truly amazing and delicious. I haven't even heard of some of the... fishes and lot of the variety is not available in any Arizona sushi restaurants. Toro was great, and Uni was the best I everhad. Read more

Absolutely amazing. The fish was so fresh. Everything tasted so good, but you have to adjust your expectations. This is meant to... be an experience, it's not a place to over eat and get stuffed. Chef Shinji and his right hand man Suzuki were right in front ofus. It was awesome being that close and seeing everything get prepped for you. Michael provided such great service witheverything else, and was very attentive. They only serve a maximum of six people per sitting, so it was very intimate. We willdefinitely return. Read more
