We went to Sushi Roku for a date night at the W Hotel and I was very impressed with this restaurant. We ordered the heavensake... Junmai 12 bottle and Kiran light beer. For appetizers, we ordered vegetable tempura and wagyu beef skewers. However, the bestfood we ordered was the chefs choice of 7 pieces of nigiri and 1 hand roll. Overall, this is high-quality and one of the bestsushi experiences in Scottsdale. If you want a vibrant and fun atmosphere, then this is the place to be! We will definitely becoming back here again! We celebrated my husbands birthday with friends in April. We’ve dined at Sushi Roku in L.A, Santa Monica and Pasadena as well... and the Scottsdale location did not disappoint and it is 5 star! The restaurant was very accommodating when our party size increased unexpectedly. The brussel sprouts are delicious!
Had some gyoza, an old fashioned and the 12 piece sashimi platter. The pieces are fresh and generously sized. I enjoyed the... variety and flavors immensely. There were two types of Hamachi, some salmon, and some Sazuki (sea bass) all were very tasty. Theserver, Sacha was so kind and attentive despite the fact the place was slammed. I would caution you that this is not the typicalsushi restaurant with large rolls of crazy names and variety. The rolls I saw were smaller and the menu looked like theingredients were far more demure. Read more
For the price it’s ok, I’d expect more. We sat at the sushi bar and it was dirty. Order a drink, sake, and a. Beer. Wrong... beer, 1 sake glass. Sushi chef and service was great. Sushi was amazing, I’ll give them that. But for the price there areother places just as good and not as pricey and cleaner. Read more
