I really like The Mission! This was my second time here and I love the look of this restaurant. High ceilings, decor that fits... the cuisine, and solid layout for seating. The service was excellent on a Wednesday afternoon. It also wasn't very busy at thistime. I love places that make guacamole to your liking once you order. Awesome selection of ingredients and plenty of items tomake it spicy (serrano, ghost pepper sauce etc.), you can choose mild, medium, or hot. I got the Rick shrimp tacos, they weredelicious. The tacos are a little small, I wanted more after finishing, but that's just me being greedy. ???? I was a HUGE fanof the roasted poblano grits and the corn as sides. Love this place! Jordan crushes it at the bar with delicious original drinks! (Ask him for one of his ‘off the menu’... specialties!) Vibe is relaxed and casual, with a top-notch menu. We had three appetizers and all were delicious. Peruvian DuckFried Rice, Crispy Pork with Cola Like Glaze and Grilled Street Corn. All had original flavors. None of them were boring. Just went for a bachelorette dinner. We requested a "fun" server and Jordan did not disappoint. He was so fun and friendly with... our party! He recommended many dishes that were soooooo delicious. He also made THE BEST drinks and was a blast to watch behindthe bar. We spent 3 1/2 hours at the restaurant, so much fun. JD made the most delicious guacamole right at our table. I took kids here between lunch and dinner. Even with a limited menu it was delicious and enjoyable. We had the steak tacos and... brussel sprout tacos, both were amazing. The salad was huge and too much for a single person to eat as an appetizer. Read more

This place is swank. We usually go to the original in old Town but had to try out the Kierland location tonight. The guacamole... is 100% incredible made tableside. I am a believer. We had the pork shoulder which is nice. Very messy. There's alot ofdelicious sauce which seemed kind of barbequey, sweet and spicy. It definitely splattered when it fell out of my delicioustortilla. Glad i wasn't wearing a white shirt. Way more pork than tortillas, which are hand made and outstanding. The servicewas spotty. I think they may have been understaffed so I want to give the benefit of the doubt. While our server was veryfriendly there were some things that could improve. He was often absent. We ran out of water and didn't get a refill until wewere ready to leave. We'll certainly be back though! What a cool spot! Read more

Great ambiance, right in the middle of Kierland Commons, the focus is Latin-inspired dishes beyond Mexico. We tried the pork... shoulder tacos and thought they were pretty good, though a bit on the sweet side for me. The size of the corn tortillas wereminis, quite cute! I liked the side of Brussels sprouts we ordered too (had generous pieces of bacon in it). Anniversary dinner. Great food and service. The kale salad is the best I’ve ever had; and we enjoyed the fish and carne... asada tacos. The pumpkin spice bread pudding was incredible! Super margaritas, too. Read more

This is a higher end restaurant with unique food options that focus on Central American flavors with a little nod to Mexican... food as well. Drinks and food are great, service from Crystal and the manager were stellar for my friends bachelorette party.The only little hiccups were that they were out of a few food items and the soda I ordered was forgotten about even after askinga couple times. I would be aware that if you are looking for “American” type food, this is not going to be your spot but ifyou are looking for a special and different dining experience with great service this is your spot.
