What a delightful place! Went for dinner on Sunday at 5 pm. Not busy or to loud, like I had read in other reviews. Very cute... bistro, patio is gorgeous but it was to hot to sit there this time of year. :( very strong showing on the wine and charcuterie options. Both in flavors and quality. Perfect start to any meal! The beef short ribs were our favorite dish! Highly reccomendordering this! The bone marrow mash is perfection and the melt in your mouth short rib was superb! Also ordered the steakfrites, which was also very good. Seasoned well and the fries were tasty. Finished with the chocolate souffle with chocolatesauce. Very light even though it looks like it would be heavy. Good end to the meal when you've maybe over indulged and wantsomething a little sweet. We will definately be back to sit on the patio and relax. Read more
Went for the 1st time for my daughter's 16th birthday party. What a great dining experience. Had reservations and would... recommend anyone going F-Sun as they seemed rather busy. Asked to be seated near the Eiffel tower and they handle the request.Got the pate and onion soup as appetizers. Pate was tasty because what isn't wrapped in bacon right! The onion soup looked likewhat you see on television. Yum. My daughter got the flatiron steak and I got the braised short ribs. Both were cooked perfectlywith a ton of flavor. Even the fries she got tasted wonderful and crunchy. The waitor gave us a chocolate dessert thing of whichI cannot remember the name. Love this restaurant! I’ve been dying to try it and we finally went. It’s a perfect French Bistro feel. It’s much bigger... inside than you’d expect. Love the back seating area outside but I don’t think they always use it. Especially now thatit’s hot best to sit inside near the Eiffel Tower. Service was awesome, I got to taste some wine to pick the bottle (deliciouswine from Oregon pictured), appetizers, and ordered the mussels for my entree. They were delicious. The pate and salad were verygood too, simple and tasty (understated). No complaints. It’s a fancy restaurant so prepare for about $50 a person. Will beback! Read more
This is our family’s absolute favorite restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. We been going her for 20 years now. If i can give... Zinc bistro a 10 stars. I really , would give 10 stars. Food is out of this world plus Omg! Food presentation is always fun tolook forward. Service-beyond excellent Location-Best location Almost every week they have a meat and a fish special. I alwaysget their fish special for the last 20 years and they never, ever failed me. Highly recommended. And this is the only place thati can have from drinks, appetizer to dessert and leave the place very satisfied coz of the portions are not overwhelming just soperfect. Our server Myra is one of the BEST. Some of the staff are been there forever????( which I love the most) Chocolatelovers: try their chocolate souffle-it’s to die for???? Zink; BE PATIENT MY FRIENDS, they are trying their best. OK we usually don’t go on the weekends but we wanted to go someplace... fun and it did not disappoint us. We have been here at least seven if at eight time and we always had a wonderful experience andalways met our expectations. Kat, Angle, Susan, Julia, Ashley, thank you for your smiles, service and dropping off the tastyfood the chefs prepared. Loved the curry chicken, Truffle Parmesan fries and we had the pastrami dip (a bit to saucy), tasty.We always tip above and beyond. I WOULD RECOMMEND. Read more
Deeply disappointed. The service is typical for this type of restaurant. We had reservation and were seated promptly. The staff... was polite and efficient. Tea was served in a French press. A good thing since it allowed me to see how strong the tea becameas time went on. The bread served was cold and tasteless. It felt like it should be sourdough bread, but without the sour. Thebread was not even French baguette. The French onion soup tasted no differently the generic canned version, which the chef didnot even bother to taste and adjust. The scallops with chorizo were fresh but not cooked right. The chorizo was a bitoverpowering; it eclipsed the scallops. My wife reported one of the scallops was sandy. Anyway, we are unlikely to return tothis restaurant. Read more
AWFUL!!! What happened to you Zinc?! My husband and I come every year at the beginning of the holidays to shop and dine. We... loved Zinc - seriously my favorite restaurant in The Valley. Service was horrendous and the food was inedible. This is a pictureof my Nicoise Salad. Granted it is not a traditional Nicole’s and I knew this from the menu description. This was three lumpsof mush. My husband’s chicken sandwich was so salty he couldn’t swallow it - no joke. The three cheeses we ordered as an appwas not even close to what we ordered but we let that slide and plates and plates stacked up on our two top throughout the meal.Please do better Zinc - not sure if we will be back.
