we were passing through the city and stopped at this restaurant. We couldn't have made a better choice. We ordered pizza and... were very surprised by the quality of the tomato sauce and the dough. really good! the pasta was also very good. we especiallyappreciated the effort put into trying new recipes and letting you taste new Italian flavors (I'm Italian) and not just theclassic spaghetti with sauce. the restaurant is very nice and the staff is really attentive and friendly. super recommended. This place is a hidden Gem. I have been living in the area for a short period and have tried so many places that I have lost... count. I have been endlessly disappointed with the food as I have high expectations when I go out to eat. I must say this placeis absolutely fabulous. The food is delicious, the drinks were great and the deserts as well. My family and I could not be moredelighted. Thank you to the chef/s, management and servers. Scranton, site of ?The office? TV series, ?electric city?. There is street parking available, Bar Pazzo look from outside is not... in anyway unique or spectacular, however inside style is airy and bright with industrial chic decor. High ceilings, and use ofwood and artworks are noticeable. They have open kitchen and two wood fired ovens. Bathroom was clean and nice. Server wastrained and efficient. We ordered roasted Octopus which was tasty, followed by pork chop that was juicy and two pizzas. BronxBomber is similar to meat lover pizza and Scrantonian is like pepperoni pizza. Both were hot and a bit dark at the bottom that Ihave seen in wood fired oven pizzas. Establishment is clean and there is moderate level of noise. Good for getting togetherwith friends and maybe your date, you need to be close to each other to hear ????all in all good, average probably 30-40$ perperson.???????? Read more

One of the best places in Scranton. One of our favorites. The Honey Whipped Ricotta is truly unbelievable. A sweet and savory... combination you will love. My experience at Barr Pazzo was exceptional! My server was friendly and attentive. My favorite was my pork chop, which was juicy... and flavorful. At the end, a sudden suprise happened when I was going to pay?. my waiter said ?the men that just left paid foryour meal.?
